Would you please advice which deck is better on Silver Cloud for veranda suites ( mid ship veranda sold out)- deck 5 or 6.

Being offered either 508 or 608 suite.

Does not seem like anything more central is left. Shall we choose deck 6?

Have a question regarding the on board credit. Does it wary on different voyages? Does Silversea give it and then TA may choose to add more?

Is it possible that SS does not offer on board credit at all on some of the trips. Planning FLL cruise in January and the word is they do not offer any on board credit... Is it possible? Last trip we had 600$ for our Adriatic sea 7 days trip. :(

I think we will give it a try. Hope Shadow is as stable in the water as Spirit is. We barely felt any shakiness during 7 day Adriatic sea cruise.

Does the pool deck get really busy on the sea days or there is still enough space for everybody? We have 4 full at sea days.

How noisy is that? How to find out if our assigned cabin has a new walk in shower or all of them do by now?

We just came off the Silver Spirit Cruise of Adriatic sea ( 7 day Athens to Venice) and loved it!

Considering doing 11 day Silver Cloud cruise in January FLL to FLL ( Caribbean)

How will if differ from Silver Spirit one? It has more at sea days…

How is the food? ship condition? Suites? clientele? pool deck at Silver Cloud compared to Spirit 7 day Adriatic sea cruise.

Considering 7 day on Cloud in Feb as well - San Juan to San Juan ..

Which one is better? More value for money?

I was wondering what is the earliest / most convenient time to board on departure day? Someone on this board mentioned that it can be as early as 12 pm or 2 pm?

I had a question about the choice of spirits included with no charge on Silver Spirit Med cruise. Crusing Athens - Venice in September 2014 on Spirit.

I know they have decent house wine included.

How about vodka? Scotch? champagne?

Do they offer Grey Goose or Kettle one? Which Scotch can my husband expect to have included? Are there more expensive ones available for an extra charge?

Like 18 yo Scotch? Maccalan? Glenlivet? We have OBC to spend...

Can we take some on board with us or is it against their policy?

We are a party of 6 ( 3 couples) traveling for the first time on the Spirit in September. We are doing Athens to Venice 7 day cruise. Seems like you can make online reservations for dinners / trips 120 days in advance on my silversea website.

I have few questions for experienced cruisers:

- since we have 3 separate reservation and would like to dine all together- is three a way to book restaurants for all 6 of us? Or each couple should book separately using my silversea website. Do they take reservations over the phone?

- for a 7 day cruise what would you recommend? Which restaurant on a first night? Would you do one restaurant each night? or do main restaurant in between? Do you eat a lot on a shore? We have not been to any places we are visiting during this trip besides Venice.

- if anybody is familiar with that itinerary - Adriatic sea- please advice which trips to book. We are doing a private one in Athens and Venice. Do not know much about other stops.

Please help me plan!

Planning to cruise for the first time on SS in September. Chose voyage based on itinerary - Athens to Venice. Never been to Greece/ Croatia. Been to Venice few times and LOVE IT!

Any valuable advice about the ship/ restaurants/ dress code/ itinerary will be greatly appreciated. A little disappointed to read that most people here prefer their smaller ships to Spirit. :(
