I've seen people saying they haven't seen any actual Apple products on board but the newsletter here is advertising for Apple products to purchase onboard. Is it possible I can use some of my OBC on an actual Apple product? I'd rather do that than spend it all on booze to take home because the computer/iPod/iPad will last longer, lol.

Call them and ask is about the only way I think you can.

I typically sail with a group and it's not uncommon for me to wander up to the bar with a dozen cards. And it's not uncommon for me to forget about 1/2 of the drink orders
Lol. Nice!

Sort of on topic... This is going to be my first time with a drink package. My wife and I will have the classic package, I may upgrade one of us to the premium trying to decide if it's worth it. Anyways, my question is, if we both have drink packages, can one of us take both of our cards to the bar to grab us both a drink, or do we both have to show up?

You could always buy a bottle of cane sugar syrup and add however much you'd like to the tea available. Mixes so much easier in cold products than granules.

December 8th..
 First cruise?
-
Which one will you be on?
Celebrity Infinity November 19 and 24
-
So you will be there twice on the same cruise?
It’s two cruises, same ship, same itinerary in a different order. So... kind of?:)
-
There are two calendars for the ships in Key West..here are the links to them.
Awesome! Thank you! Looks like one week we're at one pier and the next week we're at the other on our B2B.
-
I know!! Pier B..right in front of Margarettaville Beach Resort & Marina!
Proof?
-
How does one tell where the ship will port? We're on Infinity in November and I can't find any info online about which port in Key West we'll be at.

We have the Carnival Mastercard. It came with an initial 50,000 points with use or something. The interest rate is high, 20 something %, but we also somehow got a HUGE credit limit, higher than any other card we've ever had. Is it worth it? Sure, if you pay it off each month like you said you would. PRO TIP: Make sure you use the points for Carnival or other subsidiaries on purchases over $1500. The points are worth 1.5x the amount they would be on smaller purchases.
Also, the Barclaycard app is actually pretty good as you can use points through the app.

UberX is only required to fit 4 people besides the driver and we have had many that are small so it's tight. Unless an UberXL grabs the ride, the car will not fit 4 people, a car seat and the driver!!
UberXL is going to be needed and there is no way to ask for a car seat so one will have to be brought.
You’re right, I missed the + one year old rather than there’s four with a one year old.
-
Keep calling!
But I do agree there’s two sides to this story. I’m curious how this plays out.
-
What’s cheap? An UberX for up to four people is $35. Use a car seat as mentioned and try not to have a ton of luggage, but carry bags in your lap in the car if you have to. It’s less than 45 minutes in the car.

So... breakfast burritos seem to be the crowd favorite... do you just order breakfast burrito, or are there choices? What exactly is in the burrito?

They are “build your own”. The guys behind the bar ask you what kind of tortilla you want and then you can tell them all the toppings you want from the choices you see. There’s ham and sausage and eggs cooked different ways and potato crispies and you can choose it all or one thing. Then you get to go to the sauce bar and put sauces and sour cream and other stuff on it. Can you tell I’ve done it a few times? Now I need to go check prices on some carnival cruises so I can get me some.

Omg, the breakfast burritos are possibly the thing I look forward to eating most when I cruise Carnival. Haven’t really eaten there for lunch, lol.

So, I guess I’ll play devil’s advocate here. Last December we made the trip from pasco county (about an hour north of Tampa area) to port of Miami. The entire trip was smooth except when we got just about to the port. There’s two ways into the port, the tunnel or the bridge. The tunnel was closed. Traffic was terrible. Signage was terrible. I actually wound up going into the port, back out of the port and then back in due to poor signage. It took about an extra hour and a half. Traffic was backed up both ways. We were early enough that it was ok, but never again. We’re going to Lauderdale in November and we’re staying the night at a hotel that offers parking and round trip shuttle. For an extra $50-75 dollars above parking, you get some peace of mind and a good nights sleep. Just my $0.02.

I only see one previous post about this from a couple years ago. Wondering if anyone serves alcohol on holidays as we are going to be there on Monday. Anyone been to the island on a holiday lately and been able to grab some drinks?

Just wanted to let everyone know that this great price is still available, though I see a lot of the rooms have been grabbed. I just added the November 24th sailing in the same Aquaclass cabin that I have on my 19th sailing for about $100 more than I paid for the 19th. It’s a ways off but I can’t wait for this b2b cruise! Over the course of 10 days we have almost $1000 OBC to use too.

Wow. Congrats. I would be too curious to not ask questions. It also can’t hurt to check and confirm.

Honestly. Again. (and again). I purchased the bracelet on Solstice in April. It broke AFTER I was off the ship, in a casino, a couple of months later.
Why can't some of you understand that?
Wait wait, back this up. Were you on the ship when the bracelet broke? I’m confused. Can you draw a picture?

Day in Tampa--What to do

I agree that 6 hours isn't much time. You could go to Lowry Park Zoo. If you like breweries, Coppertail is near the port and I like their beer and food (try the Unholy Trippel). I don't know if I would chance it going to the beaches as traffic to and from can inexplicably build up and cause delays. It's just under an hour to Clearwater beach from the port and just over an hour from the port to Siesta Key (the nicer of the two IMO). If you like higher end shopping, I really like Old Hyde Park. Buddy Brew coffee there has some great fresh roasted coffee you can take home if you're into that. Port to the Dali museum and back to airport is about an hour's worth of driving altogether. If you go a little further that direction you can go over the Skyway bridge and go to the state park just on the other side, it's a shame you wouldn't have time to watch a sunset there.
