  1. But they did miss only 3 hours on Sunday.

Getting in at 4pm on Sunday vs getting in at 7pm like she did...that's what you call loosing a day ?

I'm pretty sure Dawn typically arrives Bermuda by 11am Sunday.
  2. The MX are actually the biggest Mini-suites for balcony size.

But you usually won't get to book them directly only a GTY, so you may end up with any mini-suite (or above).

Yep, I know its rare to see a specific MX mini available - but I did actually see #11636 available and now have it on hold. So I'm assuming balcony size is the only difference between MX/MB?.. the interior is identical?

Anyone who has stayed in 11636 or 11136 and could kindly share their cabin experience/pics would be SO appreciated! :)

  3. Wondering what is the diff between mini suite category MX vs. MB on the Jewel Class ships?... size? - doesn't appears so on the deck plans. What warrants the different category distinction?

For example, what's different between cabin 11636 vs. 11634?.. and 11136 vs. 11134? I know the balconies are bigger for 11636/11136 - but anything else different?

Can anyone who has stayed in 11636/11136 please let me know if there is anything less appealing about these cabins compared to 11634/11134? I have opportunity to book 11636 and I really like the look of the bigger balcony - but just wondering if there's anything negative about this cabin comparatively.

    Thanks!

  4. Have you seen these images? https://docs.google.com/a/wisertogether.com/presentation/d/1Shr3_GfqMuTH1Jj5JHkIx-LILVCN325OtTuHCRmgDY4/pub?start=true&loop=true&delayms=5000#slide=id.gd42732d6_2_0

Appears bed is by closet. 14242 does have an angled balcony offering more space than the standard issue side balcony. All these standard size balcony cabins are the same fwiw, outside of bed placement, location and possible angled balcony

hmmm... slide 5 in first doc shows cabin 12130 with bed next to balcony - which contradicts the "indent" representation of bed placement on deck plan. Appears the deck plan can be randomly inaccurate in this regard.
  5. Port side again. 3 times out of 4 this season. Clearly the default orientation. Bodes well for me port side stateroom 4 week today :)
...and the pattern continues - BA has been docking same orientation as Dawn before her each week this season. If you check Dawn on Sunday when you're boarding BA in NY, chances are good you'll know your Bermuda orientation even before BA drops her lines in NY. :)
  6. ...

She was scheduled to sail last evening at 6 PM from Nassau but left this morning, 12 hours behind the timetable...

Wow!.. even much later than I realized! I turned in shortly after midnight, she was still docked. So she didn't depart till 6am?! Interesting.

After the thrill ride I decided to hit the jacuzzi for a little while before lunch. Our CC roll call was meeting in the Cucina Del Capitano restaurant for lunch. The jacuzzis on the lanai got decent traffic throughout the cruise, but overall they had much less people than the ones in the aft of the ship.

Yikes!!.. talk about being on exhibit!.. 100+ cabin balconies looking down on you in your bubble bath!! I'm thinking that would feel sorta weird. Sure would not be my hot tub location of choice.
