  1. Has anyone done a scenic reiver cruise? Amsterdam to Budapest.

    Please give reviews here

    Thanks:)

Hi, did Amsterdam to Budapest April/may this year. Great trip and highly recommend. We were in the cheapest suite (no balcony and only a small window) but that wasn't really an issue for us. Service was good, all inclusive excursions, enrich tours, food, facilities all great. Will do another one some time, maybe Asia.

  2. Forgive me if there's info elsewhere for this, I had a quick search but couldn't find anything.

Booked on Celebrity Solstice Auckland to Sydney Jan 2015 and I wondered what is the earliest time in the day we can board? We are considering some tours in Auckland before the cruise. One we check-in and/or board in Auckland can we leave the ship and return in time for the 8:00 PM departure?

What is the earliest time that we can drop off our luggage? Can we drop luggage early and go away on a day tour then check-in later?

  3. On an iPad, if you hit the link that says go to spreadsheet view and desktop version you should be able to see the 2nd page. Thanks Flipper for loading this, very helpful. One of our party a touch disappointed that there's no Bundy but he'll live without it :-)

  4. As an Englishman by birth and an Australian by choice the whole concept of tipping is alien to me. I believe that on-board gratuities are included in my cruise package but I've been told that some tipping is still expected. If that is the case who should I be tipping and how much.

    Thanks in advance.

  5. Hi, 1st time cruise so forgive the dumb questions.

I am booked on Celebrity Soltice Jan 4 Auckland to Sydney. A couple of ports are tendered rather than in port and I wondered if the tenders go and return at various times throughout the day or just one time. For example if I opted to do a morning shore excursion that lasted just a couple of hours will I have to wait until later in the afternoon to return to the ship?

Also if I don't book any excursions and opt to do my own thing is there any charge for the tender to shore?
