  1. Hi There

Just looking at shore excursions. There is 2 adults and an 8 year old. We want to swim with the dolphins for sure.

I've looked at TripAdvisor but also keen to hear which one people recommend - Dolphinaris or Dolphin Discovery - Chankanaab park which seems to also have a lot more on offer - sea lions, manatees, zip line etc.

Also considering the Sea Treck Helmet dive - any comments on this?

Has anyone done the Reef Explorer semi-sub.

Any comments on the sea turtle snorkel?

Obviously we won't be able to do everything but keen to pick the best thing or things - the above is what is of interest. Keen to give our 8 year old as much sea life interaction as possible she won't get it back in NZ.

    Thank you!

  2. Hi There

I'm a first time cruiser still trying to find my way around this site too! I've already asked a few questions and some of you have been very helpful! I've also had advice to ask Royal Caribbean some of the questions however I struggle to get responses especially by email.

A few things I am hoping you can help me with.

    1. I've seen on some threads that you can request the configuration of your room - how do you actually do this?

    2. We will have a rental car that we need to drop off at the Fort Lauderdale Airport - I see there is some sort of bus transfer we can get to the port - can anyone give me information about this?

    3. In terms of drinks we will have an 8 year old with us who drinks water and apple juice only doesn't like soda - do we need to get her a drinks package or is water/apple juice available?

  3. Amazing review can you please help me? My partner and I will be taking our 8 year old on our first cruise. We are from New Zealand my father and family live in Florida. I'm an American Citizen with a US passport. A few questions:

We are going on a 7 night Western Caribbean cruise that departs at 5 pm - how early can you board? The website says 3 hours before? If possible I'd like to avoid lots of standing around in lines I know our 8 year old will not cope.

Do we need visas at all for any of the port stops?
