In the past I've seen where cruise lines offer "kids sail free" promotions and I'm very interested in these options for 2017 leaving out of Florida (Miami, Tampa, or Port Canaveral). If anyone has any information or can point me in the right direction to get started that would be very helpful. Thanks.

Planning last minute trip on a budget- have cruise, flight, and now need hotel. Need room for 7/17 and thinking of trying to find hotel near airport. Are there any good places to eat near the airport? Sushi, chain, etc., doesn't matter. Thanks.

Leaving on a cruise out of Miami 7/18. I just want to make sure that I am understanding what I have been reading on here correctly. So it seems like it's more expensive to stay closer to the port instead of near the airport. We arrive in Miami at 6:30p on 7/17 which doesn't leave use with a lot of time to do much in the city besides eat. So does anyone have a suggestion on where to stay? Any good places to eat near airport?

Ship returns on 7/21 early in the morning and we leave on 7/22 at 6:30a and we would like to do some things on the 21st since we have the whole day. Any suggestions on where to stay that day as well?

Leaving next month on a cruise leaving out of Miami and need a hotel for the night before the cruise leaves. I'm not too familiar with the area and wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions for hotels either near the port or offer some type of free shuttle to the port. Not picky just somewhere clean and maybe restaurants near. $100/ night or lower? Thanks.

My wife and I are planning on going on a cruise leaving from Miami on July 18th for our anniversary. There are three cruises leaving that day and we are not picky as to which one we go on.

We have already booked our flights and I am curious if anyone has booked a July last minute cruise in the past and what they paid. I know that there is no way to predict future prices, but I am just curious if anyone maybe did this last year or any other year and how much they paid?

My hope is that there will be 4th of July last minute deals similar to what was offered for Memorial Day recently, but any help would be great. Thanks.

I've seen that I have the option to book airfare and the cruise together thru the cruise line website. Has anyone booked air thru the cruise line and willing to share their experience, price, pros/ cons etc .?Or does anyone have suggestions for booking airfare?

Thanks, I never thought about that. Leaving out of Miami is out second option but the hard part is finding airline tickets for a decent price. Hopefully with there being more options out of Miami, there will be more chance for price drops.

Thanks for the information. Our plan is to buy tickets to Orlando soon so that we can prevent buying last minute flights. And if we can find a last minute cruise from Port Canaveral then then we'll do that. If not, we can find something to do at a nearby beach for a few days.

I having been seeing how cruises leaving two weeks from today are going down to $199; so I was wondering if that price drop trend continues in July as well.

My wife and I are planning on going on a cruise for our 5 year anniversary this July on either the 17th or 18th but we are sort of confused with some things. I've noticed that the closer the dates get to the sailing date, the prices tend to go down. Is this true also in July when I hear is busy season? I assume since most people will be traveling during this time prices won't be as low. Has anyone booked for a low price in July? Any help would be great. Thanks.
