Thanks BudgetQueen - that's good advice. If I'm this worried about it now, I should take that as a sign that I'd likely be a nervous wreck the whole time we're in the air. :)

A possibly silly question -- how scary is the helicopter trip there and back?

I've been debating booking this because I would love to hike on a glacier, and would love to see portions of that landscape from the air. While I've been on a helicopter once before I would still classify myself as a complete sissy when it comes to flying in any vehicle. Is the trip pretty fast and smooth, or is it windy and difficult?

Thanks for all this great information! I'm assuming you have to purchase the alcohol card for the whole week, right? I always find it odd when something is priced at a daily rate but unavailable for daily purchase, but I guess it makes sense that with varying cruise lengths they can't give you a flat rate price.

I've been researching this trying to decide if my DH and I should purchase, but we're on the fence. We'd prefer to drink higher quality stuff since it's very seldom we get to go on vacations and want to enjoy it - so I think if there's a $10 cap on drinks it might not cover what we want.
