  1. I’ve just tried to upgrade from the Aurea all inclusive package to the Deluxe package (having just booked for next May on the Seaview) and was categorically told that it wasn’t possible, I would have to pay the full price of the deluxe which isn’t great news!! I might have to try again later down the line to see if anything has changed!

  2. I’m just in the process of booking on MSC on the Seaview for May 2019 and want to upgrade the Aurea drinks package to the deluxe package at the time of booking. Do I give the required code (536) at the point of booking? I want to be sure I can do the upgrade before booking!

  3. Have done a couple of NCL Med cruises and have just come back from a P & O Caribbean Xmas cruise. I would probably plump for NCL next time to be honest. Entertainment is better and I like the fact that there are various nationalities on board, not just British. If you like a drink or two and entertainment then I would go for NCL.

  4. We have done a couple of NCL med cruises and loved them. We are heading out to the Caribbean this Christmas and I don't think that it will be a quiet affair! We considered a lot of lines and we're quite happy with P&O. That said, we haven't yet been on one before but think you should be fine. Sun, cocktails, fab islands, what could be better?!

  5. Hi, we are booked on B734a in December and want to book the retreat for the 2 weeks. I'm aware that passengers for B734 will be there in the Friday (we arrive on the Saturday) and that possibly the retreat may be fully booked by the time we arrive.

Had anybody had any experience of this at all? Does it get fully booked? I'm aware that it being the Caribbean it might not get fully booked as people will be leaving the shop most days.

Don't really want to miss out but as you know, you can't book before you go which is a bit of a pain!!

  6. Hi, am heading out to the Caribbean on Britannia for 14 nights in December and I don't cope well in air conditioned cabins, it just 'dries up' my airways, especially over night! I can always leave the balcony door open but I was wondering whether there are any electric fans they can provide instead? Has anyone managed to get hold of one?

  7. Great review Mark, we were getting off as you were getting on! Have to agree with everything you say, it is a fantastic ship. We went on the same trip last year and it went to Palma rather than Marseille which was a better choice IMHO. And you can make it your cruise as much as you want and ignore all the negative reviews! Well done again!

  8. Thanks for the responses and a great review! Looks like we've made the right choice! Only been on the Epic previously in the Med so will look forward to it. The transfer from plane to ship sounds good, have been to Barbados numerous times and know what the queues can be like at immigration!

  9. Hi, we have just booked the Britannia Christmas & New Year cruise on 23rd December 2017 and can't wait as it will be 50th celebrations as well! Would be grateful if somebody could let me know the age range, are there lots of children etc. Also is the Retreat worth the money?!
