HI!
Marianne & Dave from Connecticut will be joining you! Based on the cabins available, it looks like the ship will be full!

Dave & Marianne here, from Connecticut. We just booked today! 🙂
Change in plans! Decided to sail the week after this. Only guarantee balcony cabins available and I just didn't want to take a chance on this long sailing. Have a great cruise!

Beautiful sunny day here....but chilly!

Yes, we did know before we sailed. We had a huge roll call and this was discussed way ahead of time. We had 7 sea days and we met each sea day. We maxed out with about 35 players and a pot that was around $100. The crewmembers working at the Lido Restaurant would gather to watch us play! :D
I'm going to follow your lead and do it the same way. Thank you!

I was on the cruise. We did know ahead of time to meet on sea days at the pizza area. I think 2PM. It worked out great. As the days went by more and more attended.
Thank you!!

We'll be on the Pride for the first time in Sept. We played LCR in April on another ship, but I just called a few people who gave me their cabin numbers when there was nothing going on. I like the way you passed the try around!! Did you decide where & when to play before sailing?
Thanks for all the great info you shared! Loved the review & the pictures. Thanks again!

Are there any shaded areas at Junkanoo?

Family vacation....Myself, hubby, 2 sons & wives and 2 granddaughters age 4 & 5 and we had 3 balcony cabins side by side on deck 9 midship. Ship was perfect for us. Little girls only went to Splash Academy for a few hours and liked it, but they preferred to play at the Splash Pad and on the slides. Adult kids enjoyed the slides too! Hubby & I spent a lot of time at Spice H2O and loved it! Never had a problem finding a seat.
Food was excellent. Reservations were made in advance at specialty restaurants.
We had anytime dining and went to the dining room before 6:00 and never had a wait to be seated....all 8 of us. Teppanyaki was a lot of fun for all of us and food was the best! Cagney's was also excellent. They asked if we planned to see a show, which we did, so they made sure we were finished in time, but we weren't rushed either.
Shows were very good. Howl at the Moon was a lot of fun! Escape the Room was fun, but nobody escaped! Cirque was great!
Bermuda was beautiful and fun. The NCL ferry to St George was a nice perk! In our time in Bermuda we went to Tobacco Bay, Horseshoe Bay, did a jet ski tour and rented a pontoon boat! Perfect weather helped make it great. We booked all of our activities on our own.
The ship was very clean and everyone was friendly. Plenty to do (or not do!) for all of us.
All of us had a great time!

Thanks for taking us along with you!
Other than the buffet, were there other lunch options available on embarkation day?
I love your food pictures!!
Thanks, and continue to have fun!

You will be wowed by this ship, if Majesty is the only one you've sailed! Big and well-designed!
Yes, you may use the return cruiser check in lines!
Can friends traveling with us also use the "return cruiser check in line"?
Also, are there any other lunch options on the Grandeur the day we board other than the buffet?

After reading the responses..I just this second booked!!!!
What date are you sailing? April 26 for us!

Hi - taking my 3 year old and 6 year old to cirque I think on our november Breakaway cruise.
If we get the dining package, I know hubby and I pay only 15$ for premium seats, but what is the price for kids (same as regular?) - and if they don't want the fancy food, can they eat off kids menu?
You are charged full price for the kids. They have a choice of the set menu (surf & turf) or order from the regular kids menu. We ordered the set menu and had our kids eat before the show at the buffet. The adults in our group enjoyed what the kids didn't eat...which was almost all of it! Seems like a waste of money to pay that much for mac & cheese.
You'll all love the show!!

Had this problem on breakaway, just disembarked yesterday. Couldn't roa ahead of time. We booked it immediately once on board though. Even my ta couldn't book for us, it was weird

I was on the Breakaway 2 weeks ago and had the same problem. We also booked as soon as we were on the ship.

Agreed. The best part of soup is that it's warm. Chilled soup to me would be like drinking a hot beer... ewwww.

NO! You must try it! It's like a milk shake!! SO GOOD! They must call is "soup" because it's liquidy!
-
Just back from the Breakaway....no chilled soups in the dining room or buffet....lunch or dinner.
I'll just have to try again next year! :D
-
Recent cruisers....does NCL still have chilled soup on the menu? I hope so!!

First time cruising with a 4 & 5 year old. Do the dining rooms give the kids crayons or should we bring something to entertain them while waiting to be served?
Also, is there an area in Spice to cool off? Are lounges usually available in Spice?
-
I need your opinion.....which do you prefer?? Getting off the ship ASAP or relax and get off later? Does anyone know when they kick the last people off? I need to let the car service know when to pick us up.
Also....I read someplace to have the driver pick us up in the location designated for dropped off. Others say across the street. Will they allow pick ups in the drop off area?
Thanks!

I've read that Ocean Blue has great lobster rolls at the window at lunchtime. Is there a charge for that?
-
We're a group of 8...retired parents, 2 sons & their wives and 2 granddaughters...age 4 & 5. Day 1 morning we're taking the NCL ferry to St. G to Tobacco Bay. In the afternoon sons & wives are jet skiing. Day 2 we're renting a pontoon boat for 4 hours!! (I'm very excited about this!!) Son will drive it and we'll explore secluded beaches, a shipwreck and who knows what else! (They supply a map.) Day 3 we'll go to Horseshoe Bay. 42 days to go....can't wait!

Can anyone who has sailed on the BA to Bermuda recently tell me when your M&M was scheduled? How was the turnout?
Thanks!

We brought back more cartons than allowed and told the custom's person (we were ready to pay the duty). Agent couldn't be bothered with the hassle. Just declare it. Chances are you won't be charged either.
Same thing happened with us.

HI!
Dave & Marianne from Connecticut here. We sailed on the Venezia in October and enjoyed it so much we had to book again! 🙂
