Anyone out there going on Aegean Adventure in April?

We've just booked the Croatian Classics in June that starts in Dubrovnik and I had assumed it was walkable so thanks for the heads up! Luckily there are 4 of us so a 10 Euro taxi is pretty reasonable!

We were scheduled to dock at Hernesaari Terminaali, but instead berthed at Lansiterminaali, which RCI did not announced and which Rick Steves calls the most desolate part of the port. We had to ask one of the tour guides where we were since the pier did not match my information for Hernesaari. So we had to change plans and take the ship shuttle to town, which dropped us off across the street from the Stockmann department store. On the other hand, the Olympiaterminaali is within walking distance to Market Square. So you need to ask which cruise terminal for Helsinki.

If your willing to walk about 5 minutes from the port towards town there is a tram terminal that takes you straight into the city. Much cheaper than the ship shuttle and we overtook two shuttle buses on our way!

SO it is possible to drop off my bag then check in a couple of hours later?

Our flight gets into Copenhagen at 9am but our check in time is between 11:30 and 3:30. Is it possible to drop off our bags at 11:30, have a quick explore of Copenhagen and get back to the ship to check in by 3:30 or do we have to lug our suitcases around with us all morning?

This is our first cruise so I don't know how it all works!

We fly in to Copenhagen on the morning of embarkment so were planning on getting the metro into town. Does anyone know if you can pay for your metro tickets by card? As we are only going to be there a couple of hours I'm hoping we can avoid changing money into DKK.

I hadn't heard of this until I came across this thread even though I purchased the soda package (my partner drinks a ridiculous amount of fizzy juice!)

From a quick google it said they were rolling them out from 2012 at a rate of one or two a month, does that mean they are all ships now? Does anyone know if it's on Legend of the Seas?

I made some reservations for specialty dining and the payment and date and time went through ok but when I look at my calendar or history the reservations are not there. Obviously they are having some issues.

I had the same issue, glad it's not just me! Had a panic when the money came out of my account but it looks like I have nothing to show for it
