Chefs Table was held three nights on our cruise. The Main Dining Room food was fantastic. We had the best waiter ever. I will post a review within a week. I have been so busy with work and college. I'm so sorry that it has taken so long

Javorka the Alchemy Bar tender leaves in Grand Turk today to go home. The cruise so far has been AMAZING! The first two days at sea were a little rough but we managed. The room is a REALLY good size for an Interior Stateroom. I 100% recommend 2126 to anyone who cruises on the sunshine. Staff has gone above and beyond on this cruise to make it wonderful despite the adverse weather situations. The ship is very modern itself. I myself cruised on the ship when it was the destiny and the only places you can see the old ship is the elevator bays. The ship is crowded but you learn how to manage it after a couple of days. More to come SOON when I get to sea

You are awesome! I can't wait! We're sailing on Feb 10, 2018. Can you find out a few things for me? Which dining room is Anytime dining, and if it's not the Sunrise, will they allow you to request the Sunrise dining room if you have Anytime dining? What days are the 2 elegant nights? How are the cabin temperatures? I've heard things about them being uncomfortably hot. Will the Steakhouse allow you to enjoy some drinks at the bar without eating dinner in the Steakhouse?
Thank you so much!
I so know that the Sunrise Dining Room is the Anytime Dining Room. I will find out about the elegant nights. Cabin Temperatures were perfect on our last cruise on the Sunshine but will check when we board on the 15th. No, you cannot use the steakhouse bar unless you dine in the Steakhouse

It's most troubling on the ships without serenity. I don't mind kids, truly. I have 2 of my own. In fact I appreciate that carnival is a family friendly brand. However, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for one outdoor area to be kid-free.

You have an outdoor area. It's called Serenity. Most of the time kids only want to be at the back pool when it is raining or just terrible weather. Their parents have to pay full fare as well and they deserve to have the same spaces as adults. Just remember the fact that you were kids once.

I plan to post a full review with photos on to Cruise Critic. If you have any questions about the ship to be answered or pictures to be posted, please let me know. I will have Wi-Fi while on board and while sometimes it can be unreliable, I've been so fortunate with it in the past! Thanks and enjoy the review

I just booked a cruise for the middle of Aug on the Elation and when I look at what restaurants are on the ship, it already shows Guys Burgers and the Blue Iguana. That was part of why I booked with that ship. Now,I'm hearing that's not even on the ship until dry dock after my cruise.
Not happy!
I would in my mind, since you still have time, switch to the Ecstasy which is a sister ships with all the upgrades and overall a much nicer ship. Then you won't have to worry and it's close to Jacksonville.

When will the Paradise get something?
The Elation is October 2017 and Paradise in 2018. Both will get for sure:
Carnival Waterworks
Stateroom Renovations
Guy's Burger Joint
Blue Iguana Cantina
Blue Iguana Tequila Bar
Red Frog Rum Bar
Alchemy Bar
Cherry On Top
Camp Ocean
Cloud 9 Spa
Remodeled Pool
Redesigned and ReImagined Lido Dining Room
Dining Room Renovations

According to John Heald, All Fantasy Class Ships will get Fun Ship 2.0 and the Alchemy Bar for Sure. This makes me assume based on the last four Carnival Fantasy Class Ships, it will get:
Guy's Burger Joint
Blue Iguana Cantina
Blue Iguana Tequila Bar
Red Frog Rum Bar
Alchemy Bar
Cherry On Top
Carnival Waterworks
Full Stateroom Renovations
Stateroom Hallway Renovations
Spa Transformation to Cloud 9 Spa
Lido Deck Restaurant Remodel.
All of these things have happened to the Fantasy Class Ships in that time period based on its previous dry docks. I'm most certainly not guaranteeing this though
I do not believe for a moment that they will make that rear lounge staterooms. It doesn't make any since as there are no staterooms near that location! Not that I'm right I just don't think it will happen.

Fantasy is almost identical to the Fascination hence a Different Atrium, Promenade and Venue Styles. Same size areas except for Camp Ocean and the Comedy Club. The reason for this is when they put the Camp Ocean in on the Fantasy, the took a Third of the Show Lounge instead of building it below the penthouses on the other Fantasy Class Ships. It just wasn't an idea at the time and honestly, it wasn't that much smaller and they made good use of the space by putting camp ocean there and making more seating on the Lido instead.

Go cruise on the Carnival Sensation. It's staterooms we're completely redone in 2010(it looks like the Conquest Class ship Staterooms now). It has 2.0 (Guy's Burger Joint, Blue Iguana Cantina, Red Frog Rum Bar, Alchemy Bar, Blue Iguana Cantina Bar, Cherry On Top, and Camp Ocean). These renovations will be completed by February 22nd, 2017

They stopped serving Lobster on 5 Night and Shorter Cruises in October of 2016.
Regarding the Fantasy,
I absolutely love the ship. It has 2.0 upgrades with Guy's Burger Joint, Blue Iguana Cantina, Red Frog Rum Bar, and Blue Iguana Cantina Bar. It will get the Alchemy Bar and Cherry On Top when it has its next dry dock(which isn't Currently Scheduled. Too Early. Overall, I love the Fantasy. It's very classy and not Gaudy like most Carnival Ships

No,
I did the behind the fun tour on the miracle and was pretty interesting. Just got off the Fantasy in April and heard that is $25.00 on the Fantasy Class Ships.
Carnival Sunshine 5-Day Nassau Cruise Review - 10/9/23
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Loved your review. I have been cruising on the Sunshine a long time and she has definitely deteriorated quite a bit. I know there is a massive 43 day long dry dock planned at the very beginning of 2025 and she desperately needs it. I am surprised to hear the track is still damaged. It was in the beginning of July as well. We board on the 28th and are so excited. I am going to plan another cruise on the Elation out of Jacksonville soon. We went on her in February right out of dry docked, and was pleasantly surprised of her condition. She truly seemed brand new. Those new deck 9 cabins on Elation are a hidden gem!!! Even the interior cabins have couches. Let me quit getting off topic LOL. You guys seem like you had an incredible trip. I do get the age thing in Camp Ocean as I am only 22 and experienced the same thing. Things get MUCH better in Circle C and Club 02. I would go back today if I was 17!!!
