  1. Towel-Animal, I was also on this cruise (Columbia - Panama Discovery segment).  You have done and outstanding job with your well written chronicle. Thank you for taking the time to provide such a detailed report.

I will admit I am probably the only other passenger other than you on this segment who chose to try the indoor pool in the Yacht Club.  Initially I thought I would only be in the water for a minute of two . However, I actually enjoyed it and stayed to swim for while.  Of course only two bar tenders were around at the time so they were amused.  I would l have stayed longer if I had known about the multiple buttons in this pool that turn on localized water jets.

I will withhold my final judgement on this Yacht Club pool until I cruise the Norwegian Fjords in July where it might become a more viable option given the cold weather.

I have attached a photo I took while standing in the pool.   It is a nice view.

  2. I just found this thread and certainly appreciate all the onboard reviews.  It has been very helpful as my wife and I plan to join the Eclipse in Cartagena on Oct. 30th.  We had concerns since we originally booked an Oct. 2018 Cuba cruise back in March of 2016 and had it canceled along with our Arctic cruise for this past summer.    We have rebooked for the Artic sailing for July 3rd, 2020.

I wish there was some sort of Roll Call available for the Eclipse.

  3. I have had a wonderful experience with the PCC at NCL in preparation for our first Mediterranean Cruise(also our first in The Haven). Upon arriving on the ship the pillows in the cabin were as ordered, the fridge emptied, etc. For some more detailed special requests my PCC let me know it would take several days for an answer since they had to send my questions to the ship and wait for a response. They never failed to respond.

My wife has to have gluten free diet and PCC has always been helpful in conveying this information to the personnel on the ship.
