  1. My husband is a baseball fanatic. Last year on a Carnival western Caribbean cruise we purchased the wifi package and my husband was able to check the scores and get live updates using the MLB app on his iPhone. We are sailing in two weeks and I am hoping this will work for him on the Escape.

  2. Three years ago I booked the Getaway the day before. We were supposed to be going to St. Martin for a week and they were predicting a tropical storm with hurricane potential. When I was calling around trying to see what my Plan B would be all the cruise lines said they were not allowed to book any less than 24 hours before sailing. The Getaway was the only ship with any availability. I ended up booking at three o'clock Friday afternoon for a Saturday sailing. We did get a great deal.

If you are interested in the Boston cruise I can say in the summer those sailings are in high demand. I have been looking at the Dawn to Bermuda and have been surprised at how full they already are.

  3. Granny037 I am in the same situation. I am sailing on the Carnival Glory in May (for my honeymoon!) My fiance doesn't own a suit and after the wedding the last thing he will want is to put on another tux. I am going to buy him a Sports jacket(on sale) and he can wear that with some dress pants, shirt and tie. If you're hubby doesn't want to wear a jacket a shirt and tie will be fine.

I've been on seven Carnival cruises and and I'm am always amazed at the different degrees of "formal" attire and I have to add there is no accounting for taste!!

Don't let it intimidate you and don't worry unnecessarily. Go and have a fabulous trip!!!
