One of the promotions listed for my upcoming NCl cruise is "120 Min Ship to Shore Phone Calls". We have never used this in the past, if we had it. (We are Platinum on NCL).
Does anyone have experience with this? Does it work any time? With any phone?
Thanks
Sunburg1
We had it, it was great, had a code to enter before you dialed so I imagine could be used on any phone on the ship but we only used it in our cabin !

i know you can use two cruise next certificates when booking balcony and above, but does anyone know if you book in USA for Europe if you can use two on a lower grade cabin?
Thank you
I know the cruise has to be 6 months or more out to use 2[emoji30], I was annoyed at that

I haven’t been in any suite except NCL and Carnival but I’d like to follow this and see what is said. Carnival wasn’t impressive at all!

Should I expect anything special on board for Valentine's Day? Special menu? Cheap chocolates? Anything?
Just repeating the answer you already got, last year in Cagney’s I got a rose🥀

Another thing I’ll say about a balcony....on the downside of them, you don’t have any privacy, everything you say or your neighbors say, is heard.

Not that much but like it to see weather for day, people running to beat the ship, fresh air,

Hi there. I'm working on an article for Cruise Critic about foods to avoid at the buffet, and I figured I'd ask our awesome members for some input. Are there items you avoid? If so, what are they, and why do you avoid them? Thanks in advance!
Nope !!!

Hurricane Irma is gaining a lot of strength in the middle of the Atlantic and we are now getting some better models as to where she may be headed, and it may not look good. Of course it is not certain the direct path of the storm, but many models are putting it in line of potential danger. Hopefully the storm heads north and not make any landfall, and hopefully this is all for not. But because this storm now has a realistic possibly of disrupting the lives within the Caribbean and east coast of the US, it is something I believe needs to be watched. It may be early, but that could also mean we can be better prepared with less of a surprise.
Now many of us have cruises booked on RCCL ships. Irma could alter some of those cruises in some way. This is why I am creating this thread. Hopefully, it is all for not. I have a Sept 10th sailing on Allure, so I am watching Irma closely.
Here are some current conditions and productive models of Irma...
https://weather.com/storms/hurricane/news/hurricane-irma-atlantic-ocean
Now as I always say... Hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Thankfully, Irma is far out in the ocean and we have an early warning of it. Plenty of time to prepare.
Again, I am making this thread for all of us to watch and prepare for Hurricane Irma, and mostly to inform and to keep us cruisers up-to-date on developing situations with our booked cruises and in general.
Thank you🤙

Who is Kevin Sheehan?
I heard the Dawn was going for refurbishing November 2015, not sure if that's true or not.
I've never had a problem with leaking windows or leaking anything!

We've stayed in 12532 3 times and we are going for our 4th time May 15. Room is new in 2011, or so, we love it, huge 459 Sq ft, no balcony which us fine with us, close to pool, bar and buffet. Love the location. It is noisy Sun thru Tues because there is a pool party weather permitting, but join them !!!

The long story, in Sept 2011 we decided to go on a cruise, last minute, 3 days before sailing called, got GTY suite, pretty cheap price too, room was HUGE, loved it and so now we try to get it every time and so far, we've had it 3 times with no problem, and will have it again next May 15. And it's handicapped. But haven't been kicked out yet!!

NO!!! I called and they said they'd put us anywhere!! Would reimburse us if needed for difference in price[emoji571]
