Hey, we haven't flown in a few years now, been RVing it since the kids were small..now that they are grown we are starting to travel more...

We are flying delta to the west coast to board a ship for our cruise..on deltas website it says 1st bag $25, 2nd bag $40.. It that $40 extra or $40 total for both bags? Can we each have a bag for $25? This has really changed since we last flew.. Ok say I take the garment bag and she takes the suitcase, is that $25 each? They do not make this very clear on their website and I couldn't find a customer service number to call..

What if my bag is a lb or 2 over weight, is that going to cost me $100??

Hope I don't sound stupid, it's just been a long time and we don't want to have any surprise charges when we get to the airport..
