I was in a group of twelve from the Sapphire Princess where we thoroughly enjoyed a two-day tour with Xuan. Our first day was in Nha Trang. That evening we returned to the ship for our journey to Ho Chi Minh City. Xuan flew to HCMC to meet us the following day day for our tour in Ho Chi Minh. I highly recommend Xuan.

Thank you Julie, After looking into my options I feel taking the shuttle to a hotel in the direction of the cruise terminal spending the rest of the night. Then, the following day take a taxi to the cruise terminal while canceling the transfer with the cruise line.

I'm looking at the Holiday Inn Express which may give me easy access to China Town the following morning before going to the ship. Is there a better choice for a hotel near China Town?

couple of questions regarding our flight arrival into Singapore. We land at midnight and obviously cannot check into ship until afternoon...does anyone have a hotel recommendation near the port? And crazy question but does anyone know if there is a liquor store near the port?

I am in the same situation, I'll be arriving just past midnight. The cruise line rep arrives at the airport for the m & g and transfer to the ship at 9AM. Are there lounges once exiting the secured area ti pick up luggage?

I so agree with you about the poor selection of cruise line port shore excursions. I'll be on the Dawn Princess in February and our choices are not that great either.

There was one dispenser of "catch all" soap that was intended to cover everything. We found a grocery store and bought a bar of soap and shampoo. However, don't let this distract you from this hotel which has an excellant location and the convenient 24 hour buffet which will more than make up for the lack of amenities in the bathroom. We also enjoyed the staff and met the owner who lives upstairs.

Thanks again to all for the information and instructions for getting the shareholder credit. I sent the information to Liza via email with attachemtns and she replied the following day. In checking our account, the credit was posted to our account. Way to go!

Thanks to everyone for all the information. I made the purchase several days ago and now gathering up all the documents to send on to Princess for our upcoming cruise next month in the Baltic. The additional OBC will come in handy!

I'm considering purchasing shares of CCL for shipboard credit. I understand certain documents should be faxed to Princess. Since I am not able to fax, is there somewhere I can take the the information to pay for faxing or can they be mailed?
