    Booked direct last week now price gone down

    Hi i booked direct with RCI last week and have paid my deposit, the cruise before for the 3 of us was 3860 euros then went down to 3560 so i booked thinking i was getting a good deal and now its 3360 euros but only seem to be cabins on deck 9 we are booked on deck 8.

     

    I read somewhere about calling in and they reduce the price ,is it worth a try the cruise is in may,and i'm booking in europe. :)

    They do stop at several sites which require walking. The stroll was fairly slow and if you opt not to walk the venues you could wait at the entrance and :cool: people watch. The most walking we did was from La Sagrada Familia to meet the bus. BTW, I was on the four hour tour.

    Awesome review. I was on the same cruise this year...one week after you. Your pictures brought back so many memories and one or two missed opportunities. I believe your private tours afforded those missed opportunities. We have pretty much the same pictures and the same recollections. I too REALLY enjoyed this cruise and I am wondering how to get back there without the loooooooong flight! But I will return. Thanks again. Wish I had the patience to write the way you do. [emoji2]

    I recently (late October 2015) used Barcelona Day Tours for the 4 hour day tour of Barcelona prior to being dropped off at the ship - RCCL Oasis of the Sea. The guide was awesome and spoke great English. He pretty much talked for four hours. We went through Barcelona and stopped at various places where Gaudi's work was featured and we stopped at Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. I'm ready to visit Spain again. [emoji2]

    For charge restaurants - yay or nay?

    Specialty dining is a matter of personal preference. I went on my 5th cruise in 2014 and on that cruise I went to Chops on RCCL. The meal was a special birthday dinner for my BF. However, the meal was so doggone good, we went back on another night.

     

    ***First day on RCCL, the servers from the specialty restaurants were "pumping up" their restaurants with 20% off the meal. It was awesome! 😇
