We departed our cruise this week. We upgraded our classic to premium using our OBC. I'd say that this package was one of the best things we've ever done. Loved this concept. Kind of hooked us on celebrity too.

I bought 5 bottles of bubbly thru gifts for my cabin, They did not process the charge until the 2nd day I was on board the ship. It was delivered the day I arrived.

 

I ordered 4 weeks prior to sailing and received the confirmation email almost immediately after booking.

So......does this mean I can buy one or two bottles of liquor ahead of time and drink in my cabin? Can I buy through gifts by Celebrity on board? And finally, does obc mean on board credit?

Can one buy a bottle of liquor and take it back to the cabin? I thought I read that if you buy liquor in a shop on board, it is kept until the cruise is over. Obviously I'm confused so thanks for your help.:confused:

Red Bridge beer, made by Budweiser, is available in the states and it's delicious. I've got my fingers crossed that it's available on my Constellation cruise to Scandinavia and Russia.

Since this post regards Guinness I thought I'd ask a beer-related question. I have Celiac Disease and must be gluten-free BUT I love beer. Does anyone know if the ship provides GF beer? Here in the states, Budweiser makes Red Bridge beer and it's delicious. I'm hoping Celebrity will have some on board. Fingers crossed.:o

Thank you for all of your helpful suggestions. I will DIY in Helsinki and Copenhagen - I've traveled enough to probably be able to handle these two cities. I'm not sure how to access Roll Call but I'll be departing from Amsterdam on the Constellation on 13 Aug. 2014.

Hey everyone,

Can anyone recommend shore excursions on this cruise for Helsinki and Copenhagen? My TA told me to stick w/the cruise line's excursions to guarantee that I'll be returned to the ship on time. In each of these two ports, my time is rather limited. Does anyone out there have experience w/Celebrity's excursions at these two ports? Any help will be appreciated.

Plus, I have to travel gluten-free (GF). I haven't heard rave reviews about this ship's food.......GF may be even worse. Does anyone have any experience w/this type of food on the Constellation? Many thanks.:confused:
