We did it last Thanksgiving and are doing it again with friends this Thanksgiving and we love it. Some areas of the beach were slightly rocky but the water was crystal clear and warm, not much in the way of waves

We cruised Thanksgiving last year and Nassau was low 80"s then a cold front came in and Freeport was low 70's

We did the dolphin encounter here last November (US Thanksgiving)the water was perfect, air temp was about 85, water maybe 72-75 and yes beautiful beach and water, exspensive food

I believe guaranteed cabins are just the left overs. When they reach a point that the number of cabins available is the same as the number of guarateed cabins thats what you get. So i think a little bit of luck that a left over cabin was that close and maybe because you were linked is why your friend and not another guaranty got that cabin

We had fttf on our last cruise and yes there was a separate line. All other lines had 20-30 people in them we were the only ones in the fttf line, so even if you dont arrive early you still don't have to wait in a long line

My family DW abd DD age 10 did the dolphim encounter Thanksgiving 2013 we loved it, only two Carnival ships in port, beach was great got an hour and a half with dolphins, water crystal clear. Only complaint 3 burgers with fries and drinks $58

We had the same, price drop but increase in taxes cancelled it out. Called carnival got the full price drop
