All Vision class are that way and have been. Nothing new.
I been on a few on this class and I'd have to disagree. This is our favourite class, ir had been, in the past. There seems to be more late lunch options on other cruise lines.

Just returned from Palma at 330 but only food option for a late lunch was a small corner in the solarium, the Park Cafe. The line was out the door on to the pool deck. Windjammer closed until dinner. I hadn't realized how far Royal Carribean has fallen in recent years.

Thanks for your help.

Looking at taking a transatlantic criuse from NYC to South Hampton. If I have our dog treated a day before boarding in New York won't we be over the 5 day limit by the time we disembark in South Hampton? How do the UK authorities view that? Do they allow it because the dog has been essentially "quarantined " on the vessel for that time?

Thanks for that. I will look into the Constanza tour that you mentioned. How was the ship and crew? We have a few cruises under our belt, but this is the first time on this ship and second time with Thompson (last one was several years ago on the Majesty).

We just booked on the 25th voyage. I have never been to the Black Sea but Bourgas and Constanza sound like a great walk around. How is the Celebration for a ship.

Even though we are giving the Ukraine a miss, I had never been anywhere in black sea, so looking forward to the remaining ports, Bourgas & Constanza. Also, liked the Istanbul, day. We had been booked to go to Israel on the 1 Sep Cruise on the Celebration. So, when they understandably dropped Israel, we switched dates and itineraries. Thompson was very good about it all. Anyone else going on the Celebration on 25 Aug? Also, first time on the Celebration, how is it?

Hi,
We go on the Sep 1st, but we booked the Cruise primarily for the Cyprus and Israel portion, may look to swop for another cruise later this year, somewhere else, and try this again when peace comes to the Middle east. Unfortunately, that may be in a future life. It is pretty horrific there, makes one value one's life in a quiet place of the world.

We are booked on the 1 Sep sailing. We called the Shop, yesterday after reading that Aida and Costa have decided to by-pass Israel as a destination and that others like Holland America may follow suit. The Thompson people said that a decision would be made this week and would be notified, if the itinerary changes.

Although I am not as bothered about the "where" for the moment. They tout their Terms and conditions but I am not sure if they are in conflict with EU consumer law. On the positive side, Thompson did answer my emails with these hopeful words, if that helps:
"When we get any further information, we will of course contact you with the choices available"
And then in a subsequent email said although their terms and conditions allow them to make changes but they would "work with us.." whatever that means.
So, at least I did not get a: "like it or lump it?"
So, we will see,

We go in less than 6 weeks, it would be nice if Thompson could let us know what the alternatives are if it does not go to Ashod. They already pointed out to me that their terms and conditions allow them to change it as they please. So, what can you do. I am not optimistic that we will know much before we embark. My wife and I are calling it the Magical Mystery Tour.
Poor late lunch options on Vision of the Sea

Well, maybe, I've been spoiled by other lines that keep a portion of their "Windjammer" open off meal times.
