  1. I see that there are several sailings offering Cabins without any single supplement charge (Example: Norwegian Star 05-08-2016, Balcony starting at $799.00, no single supplement charge).

If my math is correct, this would mean that my Hubby and I could either book 1 cabin @ double occupancy -OR- 2 cabins @ single occupancy and pay the same total fare for either option. I must be missing something.

  2. $15 per 750 ml bottle. It goes on your shipboard account. Pay right before you board (they will have a table set up just past security). They will put a sticker on each bottle indicating that corkage has been paid.

The first time I brought wine, somehow I missed the table. When I brought my bottle to dinner, I just signed a voucher to pay the corkage.

Question: Can either Non-refundable or Refundable OBC be used to cover this "corkage fee" charge ?

  3. I know that RCCL offers the transfers from the airport to the cruise terminal, but does anyone have any recommendations from any other companies to use or to stay away from to get to the port from the Newark airport and then back to the airport from the cruise port? Thanks so much, I have been having trouble finding shuttle information for our upcoming cruise. Thanks :):):)

Hello - This is what we have found for (2) people for transportation from EWR (Newark Airport) to Cape Liberty Cruise port:

    01) RCCL Transfer costs are $ 55.00 outbound for (2) people.

Pros: Pre-Arranged, Pre-Paid, Cost Effective for (2) People, No Tips

Cons: Possible Wait Times, Crowds, multiple terminal pick-up points

    02) Taxi Cab costs are approximately $ 50.00 outbound for (2) people.

Pros: Cost Effective for (2) People, One Pick-Up point (You)

Cons: Possible Additional fees for Tolls. Additional fee for Tip. If

metered, additional fees may be incurred, i.e. traffic tie-ups.

    03) Car Service costs are approximately $ 50.00 outbound for (2) people.

Pros: Cost Effective for (2) People, One Pick-Up point (You), Pre-

Arrange Pick-Up time, Set Travel Destination Fare (not metered)

    Cons: Additional fees for Tip.

To answer your question: One of the Car Services that has been mentioned in several posts here on CC is Black Executive (website = http://www.blackexecutivecars.com/) Hope this helps out : )

  4. Hmm...Too bad that a bit more "extra credit" wasn't given at Conversion based on the previous number of nights sailed. I have to admit that I am now one of the "3 Cruises @ 11 Nights" who is wishing that I was one of the "10 Cruises @ 3 Nights". I sure missed the D Boat and it's going to take many (more) Cruise nights to ever reach it. I am now on a Mission :)

  5. Just sucessfully bid $ 80.00 per Night on **** PriceLine for Pre-Cruise (2 Night) Hotel. Got the WestGate for 01-30-2010 and 01-31-2010. Reviews are pretty positive :) Only downside for us is that there is no pool. But Happy none the less !! Generally, Web Prices were around $ 185.00 - $ 200.00 per Night. WhooHoo.......Thanks for starting the Original Thread and all the helpful comments that have been posted. CC is awesome !!
