  1. I would look into the Pirate Pub Crawl. It starts at 1100, and lasts 3 hours. You get lunch, 4 libations (beer or hard alcohol...price dependent) a pirate bandana (yours to keep) a sash to wear (goes great with the shorts !), a visit to a Tequila shop, (you can purchase) , a visit to a Chocolate shop (you can purchase also), and you are returned to a taxi stand in the central area where you can eithe return to the ship, or venture out on your own. You are escorted by either 2 or 3 "pirates", and it's great fun. Their objective is to show you the side of Cozumel that the cruise lines don't want you to see....it's safe (saw a couple of "cruise crew" bars/pubs) and you get to see the other areas of the city. (They do NOT take you into unsafe areas!). Price is $1000 MXN, or $1300 MXN, depending on either beer or hard. (roughly $52 - $55 USD)

  2. Terrified...of the DIVINA? It's a beautiful ship...the staircase in the Atrium alone is worth the sailing! We took our 2 granddaughters on a cruise to Nassau & Freeport, and the ship was truly amazing! The staff is there to ASSIST you, not to jump at your beck and call, so be aware of that. The food has improved greatly, and the buffet goes on forever. There are sanitation stations all around, but most American cruisers tend to not use them, then bitch when they get sick. We saw no evidence of any sickness, and the staff does not have anyone standing guard at the entrance. At the rear of the buffet is a section for children, including smaller chairs & tables, and it was used by most of the children we saw on board.
