The stateoom in question is an ocean view room 6017. It is a triple as I am traveling with my daughter and husband. I could follow through with my celebrity reservations, but since it is a bit over my budget, I was hoping to get a little extra perk from an agent.

So here is the outcome, after speaking with the TA (very helpful). He said that since I had the room on hold, he could not see the room info or finish the booking because the ship is sold out, including my on hold room. Also I could not transfer the reservation to him because the sailing is too soon. So lesson learned for me is he who hesitates is lost! Thank you for you helpful input!

I suppose that I should have been more specific, but I have not paid yet, the room is on hold until 11:00.

My family has the opportunity to book a last minute cruise on the Summit on August 23rd. I have a hold on the room until 11:00 tonight. It cannot be held for the 24 hours because it is so close to the sailing date. It is less than 2 weeks away,and we must choose select dining which entails prepaid gratuities (which I understand). However, if I book this cruise through a TA the gratuities will be included.

Here is where I am confused, if celebrity is holding the room for me, it is not in inventory. it is also supposedly the last room in this category, and the ship is sold out. Can I tell a TA my reservation number, even if I have not finished the booking?

Should I let the hold lapse and try to recover the room through a TA?

Can I book through celebrity, transfer to a TA, but then the gratuities are already paid, so the TA perk is then gone?

We are fairly new cruisers, but love our time on the Summit, if we can piece this trip together, it would be great. Thank you for any input. oh and does anyone have any opinions on OV 6017?

Hi, everyone was so helpful with my mascara and hair dilemma, so I was hoping for some input on a dress question. My wishlist is along the lines of an lbd. Cruising on the May 24th sailing. As I start to pack and plan, I noticed that I do not own any articles of white clothing (admittedly, I am pretty accident prone.) Does the Summit host a white party during the cruise? If so, I may need a bit of retail therapy to fill out my wardrobe.

Hi, we are about to leave on our second cruise next month. On our last cruise, I noticed that my hair was out of control and untameable. This is partly my fault because I don't blow dry my hair. Looked like a crazy lady in most of the pictures that we took. Does anyone know of a product that I can use on dry hair, and as a leave in type conditioner after shampooing? I was looking at a product called phyto 9, but am unsure about buying it.

Another question is a recommendation for a waterproof mascara. I wear glasses, and love a really black mascara. My fave is definicils from Lancôme, but I don't like their waterproof product.
