For those of you that subscribe to Birchbox, is it on a month to month basis, or yearly? Can you cancel at any time?
You can subscribe month-to-month or yearly. They often advertise a $99/year price, which is the equivalent of 2 free boxes. I, however, prefer to go month-by-month for now. You can cancel any time that way.

Oh, I didn't mean that Ipsy was just for teenagers, just that most teenagers would probably enjoy it more than birchbox. It is a great service, just not quite right for me. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to really grow their makeup collection!

Ipsy will probably be a big hit with your daughter. It's more makeup and wild colors, which didn't really work for me, as I am in my 30s and really looking for quality everyday products. Birchbox has points that you earn for reviewing products, which can be redeemed in their store. I've gotten some great stuff with those points. Birchbox doesn't send out that much food-ish stuff, although sometimes you'll get chocolate or tea. Popsugar always tempts me, and seems to have great stuff, but right now I am just not willing to pay $40/month. Maybe some day, because the value always seems really good. Also, my lifestyle box is FabFitFun, which is pretty good. You get a lot of products for the money.

I subscribe to Birchbox, which I love. It helps me stock up on travel-sized products, too! I used to subscribe to another beauty box, but cancelled that one. There are so many different options, it can take a while to figure out which is the best fit. I subscribe to another box that is a quarterly lifestyle box, but I don't subscribe to any accessory boxes right now. So funny, I've been lurking here for a long time, and wondered if anyone here was into subscription boxes...
