  1. We used Seattle Express last week to take 8 of us from Pier 66 to the airport. I called before our trip and made a reservation. Matt responded promptly, answered my questions and sent me a confirmation. Seattle Express uses shuttle bus instead of the coach bus that it looked like Shuttle Express uses. No problems at all. They had a coordinator outside with a list of passengers. He checked us off, we waited five minutes for the next shuttle (they have one leaving every 15 minutes) and off to the airport we went.

We disembarked at 9:00 AM, got our bags, got on the shuttle and got to the airport before 10:30 AM for a 1:30 PM. I don't think there is any issue with getting there for a 12:30 flight.

  2. We used Seattle Express to get our party of 8 from Pier 66 to SeaTac. I'm sure they also service Pier 91. It was $12/person and picked us up right outside the port. They also have pick up from hotel to take you to pier that we did not use as we had rental cars before the cruise. Super easy and smooth.

  3. Just returned from cruise this weekend RT from Seattle. We had to show our passport to Canadian border agent who entered our shuttle bus on our way from Skagway to Yukon. Passport was not required in Victoria. We also had to show our passport to border agent when we disembarked in Seattle.

  4. We enjoyed a 3 1/2 hour shuttle bus tour in Skagway that took us up to the White Pass Summit and the Welcome to Yukon sign. We took the White Pass Train on a previous cruise. The shuttle bus tour was very scenic with lots of stops and photo opportunities ( much more than what we had on train). We even saw the train running parallel to us for a short while. Only disappointment was that we didn't see wildlife. We walked around Skagway and booked in the last minute with Frontier Excursions. We had to go back to ship for passports and they picked us up at the port. There was only 15 passengers so very easy getting on/off shuttle. Fee was $69/person.

  5. We just returned from our cruise. We reserved a taxi van for our party of 6. Fare was $36 plus $1.50 per person park fee. Return fare was $30 for drop off at Tracy Crab Shack. We used Evergreen Taxi. Emailed them and got response right away. Taxi van was waiting for us when we arrived at port. Richard our driver pointed out some sights while he drove the 25 minutes to glacier. Called him when we were ready to leave and he took us back to downtown. Overall super easy without having to wait in rain in the bus lines returning to the ship.

  6. We have a one-way car rental from Alamo from Seattle SEA TAC to an office located on 3rd street. We plan on having driver drop-off passengers and luggage at the cruise terminal. He will then walk back to the cruise terminal. Tried to look at Google to see how to get to drop-off and then back to 3rd Street to drop off car but we are not clear how easy it will be able to get back around to downtown. Has anyone done something similar?

  7. We will be arriving in Ketchikan in the end of August on the NCL Pearl. We tried to book a tour for a party of 6 with Ketchikan Taxi Tours, but they were totally booked for the day we are in port. Does anyone used other tour operators that offer similar tours with similar pricing ($74 an hour for party of 6)?

  8. Based on the positive reviews, I booked with Seattle Express for the trip from Seattle Cruise Terminal to airport after my cruise at the end of August. Emailed Matt and he responded quickly with answers to my questions. It's $12 per person one way and they have a shuttle leaving every 15 minutes starting at 7:30 PM. I emailed him back and reserved space for our party of 8. You need to make a reservation but you don't need to pay in advance. I'll let you know how it goes when I return.

  9. We are a party of 6 who will be arriving in Juneau on the NCL Pearl at the end of August. We don't arrive in port until 2:00 PM. We are traveling with two in our party who cannot walk long distance. We plan on taking the shuttle out to Mendenhall Glacier, but I'm worried that the walk to bus or shuttle will be too long. Is it a long walk or are there shuttle buses right off the ship? Is taking a taxi to the Glacier a better option so at least we won't be stuck in a crowded bus?
