  1. I agree this is ridiculous. Just stay on your cruise and visit that one day or after the cruise. Not worth all the problems jumping ship causes you financially, the potential it could cause if you want to cruise with that cruise line again and the fact they are going to question your mother since she is part of your party. There is plenty of time to visit the baby while he or she is still freshly born! Even if it's a planned c section, you never know if it will happen right when planned.

  2. The distinction people are trying to make is that if you have a problem with a flight, then the airline may or may not be able to help you if you have a Choice Air ticket. You might have to call Choice Air to get help. So keep the Choice Air emergency number with you.

Oh okay. Gotcha. I had read on another thread things about choice air not being reroutable to and started to get worried as that didnt really make sense if they guarentee to get you there.

  3. I booked my domestic flight for October from Dayton to boston with Choice Air.. It was the same price as going directly through the airline but I was under the impression it was a better choice because they say if there is a delay or something they will make sure you get there.. after reading so many negative things on cc I am starting to second guess my decision! Will they reroute the flight or whatever or did I misunderstand the fine print?? Super worried as I fly in the morning of!:eek:

  4. You are right -- our passports go into the safe when we cruise the Caribbean, Alaska, Canada/New England, Hawaii, Mexico.

But if you are sailing the Med or Baltic or other exotic itineraries, you may be required to give your passports to the purser.

Question... when you get off at the port, do you need your passport to get back on the ship with your seapass, too? (first time cruiser here about to go to canada/new england!)
