AND there is an added Medical fee in the port fees. And must spend 6 hrs in a cultural setting....People to People. Carnival has several excursions that satisfy that requirement or one must document their time spent. $75 day Visa per passenger and yes, Passport is mandatory. Take your own toilet paper and sanitizer.....decided we had no business in a communist country anyway 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

We were there in November. Checked in at the lobby desk and was issued wrist bands. I felt very safe and secure. I personally have never felt unsafe in Nassau. We always we stay amongst other persons and do not put ourselves into an isolated area.
We will definitely return to the Hilton. Thoroughly enjoyed our day.

October on the Magic we received Bluetooth Speakers and in November on the Sunshine we received White Tervis Metal Thermal Tumblers.....

Tonight I called Carnival to discuss my options on canceling our cruise on Splendor over this asinine policy to eliminate Adult Only pools.
After getting the news it would cost me about $1300, I was connected to a CS person who heard my complaint.
Of course she could have been feeding me a line of BS but said management was polling the responses and was open to a change.
Love kids, raised 2 and have cruised with their children.
However, adults who pay full fare and spend much of the money on a cruise need and deserve a place where we can go to swim, relax, drink( bar revenue ) and have a good time without the screaming and splashing that goes with kids.
If you feel this way please contact Carnival and make your voice heard!
I prefer the splashing of kids verses the adults standing/sitting in the hot tubs/pools for endless hours having drinks and never getting out to head to the bathroom.🤢🤢🤢

Ya, well if they are sucking down bucket after bucket of beer enter at your own risk.

Doing the 7 day Bermuda voyage on The Ecstasy out of Charleston on November 5th. Never been to Bermuda nor have we ever stayed in the same port for 3 nights. Would greatly appreciate any and all advice to make this cruise as memorable as possible, especially help with the must take excursions. Thank you fellow Cruise Critic Members!!

It's just you. There are plenty of 7-day options out of Charleston..
Scroll down.
You are correct!! I was having a crappy grey moment!!! Lol

Is Carnival not offering 7 day cruises out of Charleston or am I just having problems navigating the crappy search feature? All I can muster is 3-5 days......

Thanks everyone for reading my review.............I guess it comes across a little too much positive or "cheerleaderish" but that best describes the cruise. I really cant find anything negative about it and was pleasantly surprised with Carnival. The small issue in the bathroom was immediately taken care of and that was ONLY small issue we had.
I loved Magic and cant wait to be on her again. Great ship, excellent crew, good food and great service. I cant ask for more on my cruises :)
Thank you for this review. We will be on the Magic Oct 7, 2017 also!! We have been on 13 Carnival cruises since March 2012 and have nothing but positive things to say.

I was on the Valor Feb 27. My bday was Feb 2. Room steward presented me with 3 gift cards. $50 spa, $25 wine and free 6x9 photo. I had not mentioned my earlier bday to any Carnival staff. Was pleasantly surprised.

Great review. We are doing this itinerary on the magic in August. We don't have anything booked in Puerto Rico and were thinking of just taking the free trolley to the forts. I was contemplating the rainforest excursion but it had less than good reviews. Would you recommend it ?

The rain forest is a long ride. We got to stop at one waterfall. I was hoping to see exotic flowers, but that didn't happen. I live in East Tennessee so the trip was like visiting the Smoky Mountains with the beach visible in the far off distance.
We would not do it again.

Yes, purchase where the Zipline ends. My 79 year old mom ride it!!! Once!!! A couple from the ship was married in one of the cabanas. The bride rode the Zipline in her wedding dress. Pretty cool.

$12 unlimited all day for adults and I believe $6 for kids

Is it possible to find a golf excursion while in San Juan? I am having NO luck searching for one.

AND they take no American dollars or credit cards. Kiosks will be available when one disembarks to change money into their currency.
