"Glasgow on your own" has disappeared from our cruise. Is the train or bus a better way to get to Glasgow from the port?

Way back, they used to have table service in the Oceanview.  A corner of the area by the back windows was set aside with tablecloths on the tables and you were served by waiters.  I believe they were waiters in training and the fee to eat there was $2/per person.  Anyone remember this?  i don't think it lasted very long.  I remember sailing from Victoria to Vancouver and we had a table in the corner surrounded by windows.  It was delightful

I remember it, we did it on an Alaska trip way back....It was a nice dinner.

Most people probably do not know that the original amaretto -- the one made by Disaronno -- is no longer referred to (officially) as "Amaretto."  According to Wikipedia:

"The product was called Amaretto di Saronno (Amaretto from Saronno) until 2001, when it was rebranded as "Disaronno Originale" for marketing reasons."

With the Blue Chip Club on Celebrity, I've able to upgrade. I always had to call in order to complete it.

I show on the list it was 40% off for onboard only.

The Grandeur used to do that out of Miami. It would hit San Juan and St. Thomas as well. We did it 2-3 times, we liked it also....................
