then the Carnival, then we Found the Jubilee. she was the ideal ship.. She and her sister the Carnival Holiday, are both gone now. the Jub actually sunk off the coast of Haiti . next favorite is the Spirit. she has moved to Australia.

Mr Luxury seems to be "channeling" Mr Wonderful" on the Sharks.

The easiest way to book these and other things is to book thru a travel agent. They can make these occasions part of your booking. They'll secure the price and you're set in advance. Sure, check the web but book it thru a TA. A good TA will watch the prices and tell you when they go down.

When you get on board, speak to the maître D (and tip him) he will schedule it and you will either get a cupcake size cake free, or a regular size cake for $20

I'm 71 and still love the action. For peace and quiet...I can stay home. I don't feel like a geezer at all on Carnival.

Crew member service.

While Carnival is my fav cruise line, i have to say HAL has the most conscientious crew and the best free member service. Carnival is more fun and Carnival food is better.

I booked one group on Celebrity. Will never do again .

Reservations Los. Monet misassigned. Cabin double booked. Table reservations wrong. At least we got to Alaska and back.

Consignment hops your best bet. Get really expensive gowns, etc way marked down. Most only worn once.

I've cruised 167 times since 1991. Mostly on Carnival. When you pick a cabin think of your needs. Going to Alaska and bothered by 20 hours light? Maybe you want an inside cabin. Going to Hawaii and want to make the most of early morning breezes? maybe you want a balcony . Your needs will be different on each cruise. Don't go by public opinion.
