It's very obvious I'm not a gambler, but am glad she probably doesn't drop that much. I've asked her several times how much she loses but she just says she doesn't keep track (sure mom.) I was more just wondering if it's smarter to play and take a chance at winning as well as free drinks. It almost sounds like too much work. I'll leave it to you professionals!

you are kidding me. My mother gets free drinks every time and she only plays slots…so you are telling me she's putting over 3000 in them? Holy mackerel. I'll just stick to buying my drinks. lol

How much do you have to spend to be comped free drinks in the casino? Is it the same for all cruises?

BTW---I don't gamble (not that it matters to you) but I'm curious as both of my parents are and always get free drinks!

I always head to the aft pool unless its a ship with Serenity. The kids usually stay at the main pool. "Usually."

So funny…I am in the minority. I could order two at a time :)…and I am not that much into sweets of any kind.

I haven't been on the splendor, but I sailed the Conquest last year. Overall same Carnival cruise, but the ship is not as nice as some. It's just dated. I would personally go splendor just because it's newer. Better yet…go for the breeze :)

I was on the conquest in 2013 and the legend before that. I can say that I didn't care for the conquest much. It is just a very well-worn ship. Can't really say I didn't enjoy myself, but the legend is just so much nicer. Have the breeze booked for October as it looks like it has all the amenities and new eats along with being new. :)

Best thing on the conquest was guys burger joint, but the breeze has that. Breeze also has fat jimmys that isn't on the conquest.

I was on aft balcony on legend but on empress level. People couldn't see from above, but I don't know about other levels.
