you can make reservations on board when I was on the breakaway the cost was $20 for 2 drinks they only sever vodka drinks

My 37 year old daughter and myself (70) are on the Celebrity Cruise leaving Miami on April 24th, 2017. She has never been to Miami.

 

We are looking for a safe, nice hotel for the nights of the 22nd and 23rd of April so we can see the city. We will not have a car and are interested in a hotel where we can arrange a pickup/drop-off tour of the city and the Bay (Millionaires row). It would also be good if they have breakfast included. Price is not a major issue but a fair deal would be nice

If you show up by 10:30, there is limited waiting. Short lines at security. Short lines a check-in. After 10:30, 4000+ passengers will be showing up to check in and board the ship. Wait times will be long well into the afternoon. At noon, you'll be in line for a while. Once you get through check-in, you can immediately queue to go onboard.

 

(Note: The Getaway uses two terminals, B and C,,,, splitting the check-in into two long lines).

Yes B terminal is for odd # cabins and C is for even # cabins check into the right terminal

1st question are you getting a NCL shuttle bus to the pier check what time they are leaving

If not I would get breakfast after you get your luggage at the airport,then take a cab or van to the pier the check in time is normal after 10:30 waiting till about 11 to board,

they will make announcement when your cabin is ready around 1-2 pm

also you need to go to the right terminal at the port B terminal for odd # cabins and C terminal for Even # cabins

I have sailed to Bermuda every year from Boston in May and the weather is awesome

check each cruise line that sails and make sure you get your moneys worth on your time on the Island Ncls Dawn out of Boston you only have 2 1/2 days to explore Bermuda the same out of NYC,Holland america out of Boston gives you 3 1/2 days and they dock right on front street in Hamilton pricey but less sea days hope this helps
