The pool would be fine for your younger kids, but I agree the water toys are too hard for young ones. We went last year and my 16 year old son, that is on the swim team at school, found it challenging to climb up on the water toys. My 7 year old was only able to do one water toy. But there are canoes and snorkle gear to use.

We went to Paradise last year. I think the ride cost $12-14 for 5 of us and it took about 10 minutes. Paradise beach is very clean with water toys and a nice pool. I felt the food and drinks were a little pricey. It's not a party atmosphere but more of a family one. The staff are very friendly and attentive. It wasn't crowded at all either.

Cabins were not updated but besides the pink color of the bathrooms and the older TVs, I don't find the rooms that much different from the newer ships
