What do you want to do with the points?
Get a discount off the price of the cruise.

Final payment for our cruise is coming up, and I'm wondering about how I cash in VISA points from the Royal card. Do I do it before final payment, after, or it doesn't matter? What's the best way to do it?
-
As someone who lives in the D.C. area, I love Baltimore for its convenience, but would love to see a new ship. Going on Grandeur again would make our lives easier in a lot of ways, but because we want to try a new ship, we're headed to NJ.
-
Yes, done it,
Excellent, thank you!

I'm hoping to cash in some points for the next cruise and was wondering if I would be able to cash in for two rewards?
-
Based on what you've written, I suggest cancelling. If you're having this much internal angst about it, it's a sign you don't want to go. Kids Sail Free comes around fairly frequently. I was able to book two RC cruises that would normally be out of our budget with the KSF promo. Now, whether or not you'll find that great price again is anyone's guess BUT they will offer the KSF promo again.
Agreed. Other cruises will come along. We did KSF to go to Bermuda a couple years back, which we would have never been able to afford otherwise. I haven't been looking as often, but I think they do it at least 2-3 times a year.

I totally forgot about MyVegas. I never cashed anything in, but should check to see if I have anything...I never liked that things weren't able to be combined and I could find better offers elsewhere.

Also, any idea if/what ships might have home port in Boston?

We have a cruise booked this way with TBA for our child's first name. I always call to book cruises, so not sure if it could be done online.

It would have been too nice if RCCL released all itineraries on time!!
Canada and New England, as well as Caribbean part two are now about to be released the 8th of April... thanks RCCL...
Maybe something is going to be modified...
When did they announce postponing Canada & New England??
-
This would be amazing!! Now I know where to put our Visa points...:D
-
Many of the NEW CARIBBEAN (after April 2017) itineraries are not posted yet. The rest come out in early April!:):)
BILL
Yes, what is the difference between "Seasonal Caribbean" and "Additional Caribbean"?

I'm waiting ever so (im)patiently for Canada & New England!

I definitely felt it the first night going to Bermuda, but my worst was on the Mediterranean on the Navigator. Honestly, in my experience as long as I stay hydrated, the rocking doesn't really phase me, and I'm pretty sensitive to it. It didn't make me or my mother sick at all, and if your plan is to stay in the Solarium area, I don't think it will bother you much.
I loved the size of Grandeur and hope to do Enchantment sometime in the near future.

We've reached the 50,000 points threshold and wondering what might be the best reward for a Family of 4. Free 3-4 day cruise and pay the remainder a possibility?
-
I've been looking for a reasonably affordable cruise to Newfoundland for some time. I noticed that Princess seems to head to Corner Brook every 2 years or so, but wondering if anyone has insight into the other large lines (e.g., RCI) heading back there someday as well?
-
When would Princess post their Fall 2018 cruises for NE & Canada?
-
I really enjoyed the auction and ended up with a walk off piece for about $100. The frame itself is probably worth at least that, so I feel like I got a "deal" after doing some research at home.
With that said, I really loved it and it looks great in my dining room. I will likely attend other auctions, but more to see the beautiful art than anything else.
-
When does Princess typically post for fall of the following year? In this case, Fall 2017, specifically Canada/NE cruises? Thanks!

My husband and I were hoping to cash in our VISA points for a 4 night cruise for two (oceanview room). However, I've heard that it is possible to add others to the room/upgrade room for a fee. I'm wondering what the fee might look like. Is it similar to the traditional 3rd and 4th person rate for a room? Cruise dependent? Any insight is greatly appreciated!
-
My husband and I prefer trying out as many of the ships as possible before we repeat. Even though Grandeur would be very convenient and we loved it, I would rather fly somewhere else to try a new ship/ports of call. Just our preference.

Israel is one of the most wonderful places in the world. When you're actually there, you won't feel unsafe. The Dead Sea, Haifa, Sea of Galilee, etc. are completely safe. Cruises may choose not to visit, but if you're lucky enough to get the opportunity, don't pass it up.

This may be a lofty question, but I'm at a loss for which Alaska cruise to take. We are loyal to Royal, but I've heard Princess does Alaska best. I also have to consider what's best for my toddler.
Here's what I want to know:
-What do you consider a must-see port
-Best land+sea package
-Best excursions
-Experiences with toddlers/babies
I appreciate any feedback!
Individual vs. Shared Credit on Royal VISA?
in Royal Caribbean International

I am cashing in VISA points and just want to make sure I understand the difference between individual vs. shared credit. Individual would just be for myself and shared for the stateroom?
