  1. Has anyone heard of JAMEs" tours

Please tell me what you think . We just booked them

I have toured with James in the past. He has to be by far St. Lucia's best touring company. He offers excellent customer service and he treats his guests like family, great conversation while on tour, he gives you the history of the island, cold drinks on the bus and lunch at a local restaurant. You can read his many great reviews on trip advisor .. http://www.tripadvisor.com.my/Attraction_Review-g147343-d2037894-Reviews-James_Touring_Service-Castries_Castries_Quarter_St_Lucia.html

Trust me, you will not regret booking with James. Especially his Land Tour, it includes all the places you would ever want to visit in St. Lucia... the mud bath, the beach, waterfalls etc. and all for a great price. It's really a fantastic tour; no exaggeration. I hope you have a great time just like i did with my family!!

  2. Good day,

My family and I did a Land Tour with James last year. James' Tours does indeed include beach time at Marigot Bay. On my tour with him we spent about 1 1/2 hours on the beach, we got beach chairs and we bathed in the water and everything. Marigot beach is a BEAUTIFUL beach.. Can i just ask you a few questions, where did you come up with the idea that James' Touring Service does not include beach time? Are you qualified to give this type of information / opinion? You have obviously never toured with James nor do you know anything about the company. After spending some time on cruise critic, i have noticed that you provide responses to questions about James' Touring service, and all of your replies are not in his favour. Is it that you have a problem or hold a grudge against James? Or is it that you prefer another company and are trying to make people deter from choosing his touring company. Either way, what you are doing is wrong. You have just provided FALSE information about James' Tours and i believe your intentions are malicious: your obvious aim is decrease James' standing as tour guide. You need to stop this, and i think cruise critic needs to take a look at your actions on the boards, because your replies and misleading and inaccurate.

It was a typo as I was on the go. I did mean James, obviously, as that is the one who did suit your plans. And obviously I understood your question given the attempted helpabove, and with your other post.....All the best, enjoy your visit.

James Land tour does not include beach time in Marigot Bay, and there's really not any beach there to speak of anyways, just a small spit of sand in the bay/yacht Harbor. The beaxh that you would be swimming/snorkeling out is likely Jalousie Beach between the Pitons....Beautiful beach....

You have plenty of time to set a custom tour with him, or another operator, if you like - and are willing to pay the extra for private, custom. Can be well worth it though...

    Enjoy your trip...

  4. James' Tours is a premiere touring company in St.Lucia. I did a tour with him when i visited there and i also read a lot of great things about him on tripadvisor. He waits for you right at the cruise ship terminal and he always holds a sign which says James' Tours so you won't miss him. The tour was wonderful and so informative, i learnt so much and St.Lucia is soo beautiful. James and his tour guides were super friendly and inviting.. And his van, Gosh its beautiful and so comfortable plus he's a real steelers so he has a steelers logo on it! he is also very reliable; he always shows up for his tours! Do not hesitate to contact James, you can find information about the different tours he has available on his website..here's his website http://www.jamestouringservice.com you can also check his reviews on trip advisor.

Are their tour booths at the pier as we get off the ship? Also, has anybody used them and how dependable are they? We aren't planning any tours ahead of time dude to my Mom's health ( there may be some days when she doesn't feel well, and may just want to stay on the ship), so I was thinking about maybe just looking into tours available as you get off the ship. I just don't want to put ourselves at risk for missing our ship, our for getting ripped off. Any advice is welcome :D
  5. Do you have to pay up front? Leaning towards booking James for our April trip.

No, my family and i did a tour with James and we paid after. You could also pay on his website ....

  6. I did a tour with James recently and it was amazing! James is awesome!! The tour included lunch and drinks and the ride so comfortable plus there was free wifi on the bus! We were so relaxed and we were treated very well... Thank you James, i highly recommend James' Tours. :)

  7. I just came from vacation in St.Lucia. My family and i did stayed at the Sandals Regency hotel. We pre booked a tour with James Touring service and we went on the tour on the 4th of September. I was quite please with their touring service. The bus arrived on time at the front lobby and it was sparkling clean with a Steelers logo all over it! The bus looked fantastic! Inside, we couldn't believe there was internet access on the bus! The drinks on the bus were cold and especially the rum punch. It was the best i've ever tasted! The seats were comfortable and the bus was cool with the a/c on. James himself knew everything about the island, there was no question that i asked him that he couldn't give me the answer to. I was pleasantly surprised. At the mud bath, i was amazed by the way James handled the crowd, the cruise ship was in that day so everyone was begging for mud. James took it upon himself to go into the volcano and get the mud for us. When he came back with the mud all the cruise ship members were begging us for some of our mud. James told them that when we were they could have the rest. He was kind enough to give them the rest of our mud. We were not too impressed with the waterfall, we found it quite small as compared to the ones in Canada. The lunch was delicious! We ate at La Haut in Soufriere and it was beautiful. There was a really big buffet, i was so happy. After lunch, James took us to Marigot Bay the beach was breathtaking... Thank you James.. i highly recommend anyone to use his touring service. :)
