We're on the 3/29 sailing on the Star...and noticed that the Ginza restaurant is no longer listed anywhere. Are they removing the restaurant during dry dock? If so, what's going in its place?
Hi Shawn5, we are on that sailing too. We have a pretty active group over on the roll call board if you are interested in joining us. Have a great cruise!

I am planning to bring a travel french press for our cruise next month. Since we have a balcony stateroom, we should have a standard coffee maker in the room. Has anyone ever just used the coffee machine to heat the water and then pour it into the french press? Seems easier than ordering or tracking down hot water.

I have looked online and through the forums and cannot locate menus or much information on the juice bar located in the Barong Spa. I am headed on the Star in March and would love to get an idea of what they have available and the costs. Thanks

Was there any mention of what would be happening in dry dock? We are on 2 weeks after dry dock and I am curious what to expect. Thanks!
Just got off the Star, and that is exactly where O'Sheehans is going to go. The Hotel Director also mentioned he is getting 1,600 new mattresses.
Did you hear anything else regarding what will be happening during the dry dock? We are on the Star about 2 weeks after dry dock and curious what changes to expect. Thanks! -
Does anyone know if iConcierge will be added to the Star during dry dock in March? I am on the ship 2 weeks after dry dock and am hoping to use it to keep in touch with my tween. Thanks!

Our family is booked for this cruise. Our high schooler has that week off and we will pull our 4th grader for an extra week of vacation. With the number of schools offering variations on the traditional calendar, there will probably be quite a few kids but it will not be as many as the 2 weeks before this cruise.
