  1. Yeah, agreed. Those who are not in the know of how to use the MTA will be sorely annoyed, and possibly late. Newark is definitely closest. LaGuardia would be the next best thing, if you want to see the city first. JFK last. JFK is not really an issue, just a little further, however it is the international airport so there may be more flights from other airports.

  2. Oh yes. That sounds awesome thanks!

Yes! Totally know the feeling you are talking about. Now I also feel it when I am feeling under the weather. I have to worry that every sinus thing will make me fall over. Ok - maybe not that drastic but it throws me for a loop. I probably did have a concision though. :(. One day this will be gone. (Cuz I say so lol)

  3. Awesome! I wish I lived a little closer to go more often. The ships here are five days and that is a little much for a long weekend! They used to have one and two nights on NCL on the Gem which was fine to get a fix, but they did away with cruises to nowhere. Boo! Closest is now a 3 day but it is a little hefty price wise and I can surely go twice by the time I'm done with that! Looking forward to your next PTR!

  4. Totally cannot wait for the next set of dates myself. Looking to do a sisters cruise in a radiance class ship. Thinking Brilliance if she still sails from Tampa. But the. Quantum looks good too... Haha I live in NY and have family in central Florida. Either way I win haha

  5. So funny. I start reading here today for the first time. I see your name and am like..OH... I wonder. Then your brother chimes in. haha. Def the same Poole's. I feel like I hear you speaking about the trip while reading the report. The one thing this has that the other doesn't...are the photos! And while I totally enjoy Matt and that stuff, (My ride to and from work has never been more fun) I am a photographer, and pics are a huge part of the cruising experience for me! :) I never entertained the idea of going alone... I may have to figure that out! I heard Harmony has single rooms too! That is exciting. The saturated photos are nuts. Something about the sky that way that makes me love it so! Thanks for posting the menu too, in one of your other PTRs! I never get around to reports, and I would not be even half as good doing them as those I have seen here today! Maybe though. I hit up Enchantment for the first time May 6 - and then Allure Aug 28. Very excited for both. I know I will be hooked! Thanks for posting, and keep up the awesomeness both here and with Matt!

  6. What a great review. I had to skim over it cuz I spent my day reading (Ginny) an RCI Allure review - but it caught my interest b/c I saw the TV show that dedicated an hour to PG. It looked so amazing! I never heard of PG or Azamara before that! I cannot wait to go over all your posts!!!!

P.S. Amazing pics. I am a photographer myself, and there is nothing like being out to sea, and taking those sunrise/sunset/sihlouette pics! GAH!

  7. 6 months later and I'm still living it too.:(

Lisa, I was wondering how you have been doing since the incident. I had a fall this past April. I was told no concussion, after a CT and MRI. A week later, horrible Vertigo set in. Now, about 9 months later and I still feel the effects. Granted not as horrible, but I may never be the same. :( I was hoping you fared out better than I.

Ginny, I just spend all morning reading your review. And, I could not stop there - I read all the comments from everyone else too! :D Addicting, to say the least. I have been a member here for a bit, but just getting into the boards now!

This year I sail on Allure for the first time. I cannot wait! My cruise style is also usually laid back. The one interesting thing was upon departure, I was looking for something to do in between getting off the ship and my flight at FLL at 3pm. We already did the everglades tour with family two years ago! Was wondering if there is anything else you have heard of that may peak interest for us!

Thanks again for posting. I look forward to finding your many reviews and reading them as I find time!
