  1. Ive been to the turtle farm more than once and i haven't had any encounter with unpleasant odours.

you will need about 30 minutes on the turtle side only. But if you sre doing the entire park it can up to a couple hours which is what I would recommend.

From the large pool with the older turtles to the upper smaller tanks where you can actually handle the younger turtles. The kids loved the water slide and snorkelling. The main gift shop is a bit pricey, but so is everything else on Grand Cayman. It was a great experience overall

  2. Miss T's Restaurant is a must try if you are in Ocho Rios. They have the most delicious Jamaican food.

You have to try the Curried Goat and the roti Wrap...

The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. I highly recommend this restaurant to tourists and locals. The meals were perfect and the price very reasonable.

  3. There are no lockers at Royal Palms but no need to worry your things will be safe on you chairs. Securities are present plus you will be able to see your things when you are in the water.

I always leave my stuff on the sand or the chairs when im in the water and never had a theft problem.

  4. my cousins just came back from a cruise and did stingray city with a company called "stingray city united"... it was $50 per head, which is a little more than the others, but when i saw the photos i was amazed...

they got brilliant photos of the family with:

    the stingrays

    tarpons

    iguanas

    birds

they said the stingray trip also had a National Geographic photo tour included...???

the kids can't stop talking about it... definetely the highlight of their cruise...

    hope this helps

  5. I was in cayman a few years back.

I have heard that the boat returns to the yacht club and they have brand new bathroom and changing room facility.

When you get off the boat you should have time before the bus ride back to the port.

once changed you can ask the driver to drop you at one of better restaurants, depending on what you like... mexican, indian, italian, sushi etc

  6. I was there a few years back.

turtle farm is pretty cool for kids 7 to 13, playing with a baby turtle and taking photos was fun.

the place is quite full of concrete, and the sun is blazing hot.

not much shade at the place.

for the infant i would definetley have a stroller with shade and use tonnes sunscreen.

  7. Royal palms is the spot... Best food . Beach, piña coladas & nice scene... Mellow... Great beach club to spend the day. We got off our ship & took the local bus right by the port... This is one of those things to do when you've done all the other tourist things in Grand Cayman. For a nice day at the beach - couples, families, etc - I recommend the Royal Palms
