Looking to book in August, and my options are Deck 6,10 or above. since the ship is so big, does it make a difference between the lower decks, or the higher ones? is it just a preference? or is the view different. btw - looking at ocean view balcony.

Thanks Bob, my wife also asked me if we can take snacks, to leave in the room. Ex. Box of energy bars, can of peanuts, chips.....etc.

I know you can take two bottles of wine on board. Can you take the bottles to dinner? If you can, are there any cork fees? Thanks in advance

I was under the impression that, other than the Grande, casual dress was just that, meaning you can wear shorts to the other restaurants? Correct me if I'm wrong.

when I looked at the drink package for my June 2nd cruise on the Anthem 2 weeks ago, the premium package was $399.00 for the 9 day cruise. When I went back to book it over this past weekend, it went up to $499.00, still with the 20% off. They raised it $100 in a 2 week period!!!:eek: Now I am not sure if it's worth it for me.

Hi. The lifeboat view is what you see looking straight down. This would be the same for some, but not all of deck 7. The davit on the right was worse than it looks in.the photo and was the most annoying thing as it obstructed the view looking out at all times. Only a few cabins would have this issue. My advise would be. Get another cabin if possible. Jennie

Thanks so much for the photos. As it turns out, all the D1 cabins are sold out on my cruise, and I was not able to switch cabins, because you cannot go from D1, to say a D2 or D3??? ( huh!) If this was supposed to be a "superior ocean view" maybe I will ask for some sort of credit when I board.

If you can't upload the photos, can you at least describe the view from the balcony? does the davit block the view? Is it off to the side? Will I be able to look straight out?

Do you happen to have pictures from that cabin? I really would like to see the view from that exact cabin. Would really appreciate it if you could.

Now you have me worried, I have cabin 7570 booked for next year, and now I'm reading that I may have a blocked view? Can you explain further? Should I try and change cabins?

Just reserved a balcony on Deck 7 of the Anthem, for next summer. Is that to low? Should I move up to 8 or 9? I think I'm fine, but I had people tell me the higher the better.
