  1. I have sent all the documentation to Ncl and this is the decision they came up with.

    I know people that have canceled cruises with Ncl with family issues with no insurance and Ncl game future cruise credit but I guess hard Times on the cruise industry and I don’t get the same treatment.

    I’m thoroughly disgusted with NCL and it’s customer service.   I had a cruise scheduled for 2/26/2022 on the NCL Joy.   I had bought the travel insurance through NCL which I was lead to believe it would cover everything, but it didn’t.   
    I got a call the morning of 2/25/2022 that my dad had slipped into unconscious and he wasn’t going to live the weekend. So of course I cancelled the cruise and I traveled to NC.  He passed away that Sunday morning.    
    After all was said and done I called the insurance company only to find out that it only covered trip interruption and lost luggage.   
    Well now I’m frustrated.   So I emailed NCL and I was just informed last night that they will also not do anything.   No even a future cruise credit (that I would have happily accepted).  I’m  a loyal NCL customer who is on the verge of being platinum.  That cruise would have put me there.   I also have a Mediterranean cruise booked for September and I rebooked this cancelled cruise.   I may need to rethink my future cruise options. 
    How is it in the world of Covid, where people can cancel and get their money back because they are afraid of a virus, I can’t get help for a legitimate reason?
