  1.

The first thing I will do is check and see if while the ship sat in port, if the crew scraped and painted all the rust on the balconies and other outdoor areas.  There is no reason that every ship in the fleet is not just like new when you next board.  So, look forward to sparkling clean windows, floors, dining utensils and public areas.  There is always sunshine after a storm.

  2. When was the last time anyone saw the Carnival E-Cards on Allstate? I've been looking daily for several weeks now and cannot find any. My cruise is only 2 weeks away now and I'm scared to order regular cards. (I'm not sure they'l make it in time.)

How long do the regular cards take to come in?

I bought 5 one hundred dollar cards today 6/13/2018. Hope this helps. Cards take about 7 days to arrive but i understand E cards are also available.

  3. Wife and I will be on the cruise with you. WE picked La Cucina the first night, Cagney's the second and our favorite,Le Bistro for the third. All three have always been excellant on our other NCL cruises. We didn't care for Moderno and guys throwing food around is not our idea of entertainment or the proper way to prepare a dinner. No matter which you choose you should enjoy your dinner and we wish you a very happy and great time !!

  4. Our daughter works for another company with the same owners as NCL. She is a manager doing the the job of two hourly employees plus her own due to lack of staff. It seems as though they don't pay enough to attract good people that will stay with the company for any length of time. I'm not too enthused about our upcomming cruise on the Epic needless to say.

  5. I've looked at cruises from PC, but I can't seem to put together anything that makes sense financially when I factor in the cost of the airfare and the ground transportation to and from the port. Virtually every combination I've come up with so far exceeds the cost of the cruise.

Is this a "Florida residents only" departure port?

Chec k Allegiant Airlines into Sanford Florida. They have the lowest prices going but charge for everything else except using the rest rooms.:)

  6. WE first sailed on the Sunward in 1971 out of Miami. I can vividly remember what a feast dinner was every night. Nothing like it is today. The ship was tiny and the cabins minuscule to say the least. But what fun we had. We rented scooters in Nassau for $6.00 a day believe it or not. Beers on board were around 20 cents or so and a carton of cigarettes was less than three dollars. My how times have changed.

  7. My wife and I were married at Mossley Hill church on june 22,1960. We will arrive on the Infinity on June 19th and would like to visit the church as we haven't been back to England since leaving in 1961. Does the bus still run from the pier head? Can't wait to get back and see the city. We used to be regulars at the Caverns before the Beatles became famous. Don't even know if we ever saw them.

  8. I'm beginning to worry that the Carnival anytime dinning is going to turn into another big complainers forum. We have been on NCL four times and have yet to wait more than 3 minutes to be seated yet there are constant whiners about long waits etc.

I'm sure there may be times that large parties will have to wait for a table much as they would at any shore restaurant but folks, don't be afraid of the anytime dinning. For those that don't like to follow the crowd it is wonderful !!!!!:) :)

  9. If you have a cell phone then I would suggest you call your friend as soon as you begin to enter the channell into the harbor. The cruise ships can be seen by motorists long before they get to the actual entrance of the Port. The Port itself is not so big that it takes a rocket scientist to find his/her way around. Your friend should be waiting for you at the dock if you get in touch as you enter the harbor.
