I'm going to be testing out a couple of different hangover prevention pills this week. Tonight's drunk brought to you by Fly-by...
I've tried those. While it didn't totally hold off the hangover, I do feel like it lessened the intensity and duration.

Daily spread sheet of what? Seriously! Sounds time consuming, and that’s a good thing!
However, we love cruising because we don't do very much, so maybe not?
I make a spreadsheet of the entire week. I'll include things like hotel and flight info, daily bookings, and itinerary items.

In other words... does stepping to Oceania or Regent kinda make the problem go away... if you see what I mean?
I've been researching Regent for this very reason. We really enjoy the Haven spa suites. If we went on Regent, the cost is comparable (depending on the itinerary) and includes things like airfare. If it means we give up the ability to wear jeans at dinner...okay. Most of the liquors we enjoy are on their included list. Excursions on their included list seem interesting.
I'm hopeful that we can do something on Regent in late 2020 or early 2021. Fingers crossed!

We have not cruised Regent yet, but reading the boards here--this report in particular--has me convinced it needs to be done. I especially love your pina colada story. Thank you for sharing your travels!

We had King crab in the Haven on the Thursday night of the trip. It was very sweet and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It is super super expensive at all of the port restaurants in Alaska. If you are in the Haven, make it a point not to miss.
I think the Garden Cafe served Snow crab earlier in the trip.
I think I need to change my dinner reservations...

We're going to be in the Haven, are there only a couple of bartenders? Do we tip each one at the beginning, and is there then an expectation for a daily and end of cruise tip? What's a reasonable tip range? thanks.
Completely and totally up to you. If my husband or I ordered something really labor intensive (like a Smoked Old Fashioned), one of us would give a dollar or two. At the end of the week, we handed over a little extra to both of the Haven bartenders because their service was superb. We also had a favorite bar waiter and took care of him, too. I do not think there is an expectation, but there definitely is an appreciation. But again, if, when, and how much is completely up to you.

Dining Facts: By 1 pm, Prohibition and Cagney’s were sold out for the duration of the cruise.

Ouch. I'm really hoping to see Prohibition, so I guess we will try to get those reservations as soon as we get on the ship. Thanks for the heads up and I hope you have an amazing time!

I just noticed that our itinerary may have changed. I could have sworn we were going to Juneau and now it’s not. Hmmmmmm.
Is that what is showing on your Vacation Summary on the NCL website? Looking at the detail still shows Sawyer Glacier and Juneau at 2 PM.

What is everyone thinking on this? Is Jose going to be good to us.
I'm on the same sailing. Jose's current predicted track definitely gives me stress, but we shall see! I'm going to pack a couple of things for cooler weather just in case we're diverted to Canada.
