Hi need some help. I'm filling in our credit card information and wondered if we are Canadian is it better to have Royal Caribbean change to US funds at the end or have the credit card company do it. Not sure which option to pick

We are not huge drinkers - but like to have a some on our cruises. Thank you for your help.

Here is my situation:

We are from Canada and I'm have a difficult time deciding about the beverage packages. We are cruising January 2017 on Oasis and booked a Boardwalk Balcony so we will be receiving the Eat Drink Play promo which includes Soda Package for 2. We have only been on 2 cruises prior and they were with NCL where we had the alcohol beverages included.

The Deluxe Beverage (with alcohol) will be $1,010.70 (Canadian) for 2

The Refreshment Package (no alcohol) will be $571.26 (Canadian) for 2

Water (12 bottles) will be $61.21 (Canadian)

I can't justify spending $1,000 CAD for the Deluxe Package - so trying to decide if we should either pay for the Refreshment package (no alcohol) and just buy drinks as we go or chance the ship will have a 10 drink card to purchase at some point and buy that on board.

Any thoughts

You can buy - just a shot of alcohol - I didn't know that? How much do those usually cost?

We are cruising in Jan 2017 do you think they will have this sale again or do you think the deluxe beverage package will go to 30% off at all

Hi does anyone have current compasses for the Oasis sailing from Port Canaveral to Labadee, Falmouth and Cozumel 7 day cruise? I'm new to RC and would like to get to see some samplings thank you in advance. Any tips would be appreciated as we have only done 2 NCL cruises before.

My DH and I are in the same boat (hehe).

 

We have sailed Epic and Escape, but I was looking at the Freedom.

 

DH would love a ship with better pools, but we really enjoy NCL's nightlife (and UBP promo).

 

Hard decision to make when there are so many great options out there!

Well I think you won us over. We booked yesterday on the Oasis in Jan. In a Boardwalk balcony. We are getting very excited now! The only thing is we won't have unlimited beverages. Just pop package from Eat Drink Play incentive.

Thank you everyone! This has helped. We are leaning towards oasis, but sad because we loved the free ultimate beverage package and tip option for ncl even though you have to pay the taxes. My husband is really concerned about the formal dining night for what to wear and how do you have to dress for non-formal in the MDR. Any help here. We won't be doing any specialty dining.

My husband and I have only cruised twice. Once on ncl epic and last January on Escape. Now we saw the Oasis and thought we might try it. Can anyone tell me any of the main differences because we are still deciding if we should try ncl Escape again only because of the promo- free drink pkg and free gratuities. Oasis looks like a beautiful ship

I envy your location, living in Ottawa, Canada airfare to Miami is the cost of a cruise. Enjoy your week on the Escape.

I agree, I live in Northern Ontario and right now the flight is $1,500 for 2 people Canadian dollars

Really upsetting this is one of the reasons we picked this ship to try the new restaurant and that it was complementary. We love Jimmy Buffet.

Does anyone know if the Garden Buffet opens and closes throughout the day and what the times are? Thanks
