Hi, only 10 months until this cruise departs Singapore. Who else is going and any suggestions on pre cruise accommodation in Singapore? Also can anyone tell me where the Voyager of the Seas leaves from in Singapore?

Merry xmas Merrymacs. I am wondering whether you still intend on putting up any cabin photos on your cruise you recently did. Thanks
Hi Merrymacs, any idea when you will put up your photos. Thanks
-
Yes, quite a bit of movement but I love it. Been a water man all my life, never been sea sick and love the role and pitch of the ocean. It puts me to sleep. When the smart one in the family loads pics up will post

Thanks Merrymacs, do you have any pics of the room. Did you feel a lot of movement being up high and at the front?
1814 is a sensational cabin. It has 5 massive floor to ceiling widows that partially look forward over the bridge. There is no dividing wall between lounge and bed so very open. The TV is a little further away but who goes cruising to watch TV. It is big enough anyway. Excellent King bed, large bathroom with shower only and curtain as this an accessible cabin. It would be much larger than most suites on board for a fraction of the price. You will love it

We are staying in 1814 on Oct/Nov Aus/ NZ cruise. Will let you know.
How is your cruise? How is your cabin?
-
Thanks that would be great

Has anyone stayed in cabin 1814 or 1816. Would like to hear about what the cabins are like? Also has anyone done the Spice of Asia cruise? What was the weather like in January February? Thanks

Where do I find your review (Vagabond Travellers). Cheers

Megsie, did the family panoramic ocean view cabin 1804 have a safe.

Have been reading CC posts re drink packages. Do they differ on the ship in comparison to on-line or are they the same? Cheers

Hi Bitter Bulldog, did you book Tchou Tchou tour through ship or when you got to Noumea. Also are AUD accepted where you ate. Counting down now less than three weeks.
-
Thanks bonsai3s. We are going on the Voyager on the 22nd Jan (not too long now). What are Headliner shows and is this the time they start (6.45 or 7.00pm). Are there shows later in the evening? What is the weather like in South Pacific at present?
-
Happy new year ozscot. Do you remember what time the shows were held in the theatre and the ice skating shows. Did you happen to have my time dining? If so how did this work. Thanks
-
Thanks for all your tips. Really has helped. Anorther question - when you were on your cruise did you have any theme nights? And what were they if you did?

This will be our first cruise also. Thanks for the info on the hair braiding, snorkelling, cannibal pot, etc. Most difficult part of this trip is trying to work out how much money we will need so any information about costs helps heaps. So looking forward to this trip as it has been booked for over a year. Just out of curiosity what deck were you on as we are on deck 12. Thanks again for your time.

Thanks keenmolly and ozscot01. Do you recall how much was the Tchou Tchou train if you don't mind me asking.

Ozscot01, just posted on another thread but here goes again. In Noumea did you do the hop on hop off bus. Could you pay in AUD and how much was it? Also on Mystery Island do they have the see through canoes and if so do you know how much these are to hire? How was your holiday on the Voyager? Hope you had a great time.
-
Hi ozscot01, was the cocktail of the day $9.50 plus gratuity (18%) or was this included. Did you happen to go to Noumea. If so did you do the hop on hop off bus and how much was it? Could you play in AUD? Hope you had a great time.

Does anyone know whether they have cocktail specials daily and what they cost?
-
Has anyone been to Noumea, Isle of Pines and Mystery Island in the last month? Do you have any photos of cruise compass, dinner menu, drinks list, etc?
-
Hi ozscot01
We are on Voyager in January. Thanks for your review. You mentioned you went to Mystery Island and Isle of Pines. Did you book tours or did your own thing? Also did you go to Noumea? On the islands did you use USD or AUD.
Any advice appreciated. Did you manage to get any photos of cruise compass or ship. Cheers

Can you bring 2 bottles of wine on cruises from Singapore. Also can you bring 12 cans of soft drink? Do they all have to be on your carry on luggage?
