My favorite souvenir is a spanish (1 real) coin that my hubby bought for me from Grand Cayman Island on our last cruise. It's 330 years old and I wear it on a chain all the time. I love that it is actually that old and also from a sunken ship that was actually being attacked by pirates before running into a reef and sinking. So much history....and something that will be passed down for generations to come.:)
