It's been years since we've been to Aruba. I can't remember if there are any bathrooms on either beach. We are happy to buy a meal and drinks or pay to use.

Yes they were fantastic. Did it a dew years ago. The highlight of our trip.

We also want to book the Sky Lagoon. I understand the bus information from down town area. We are struggling to figure out the actual bus schedule for September. Are plan is to take a bus from the port at Skafabakki Harbor to down town area. Take a self guided walking tour then catch the bus to the lagoon and back to the port. Does anyone know how often busses run? I haven't booked the time yet at the lagoon because I'm trying to figure out the transportation first. Would a taxi be better?

The Cruise terminal is located at Krydsrogtkajen, Rønne havn. Eurocar rental is a 25 minutes walk from the cruise terminal.

Thanks for all the information. I've been researching Ronne. We would like to rent a car and see the island. We are in port from 10 - 7 so lots of time. Wondering where the ship docks. We are looking at Europcar rental but not sure how far of a walk it will be. 

We had a nice time. Walked to beach went a ways down the beach negotiated for 5 chairs and 2 umbrellas for $50 . Had a couple of beers and BBQ. Sorry I didn't bring my phone so no pictures. Felt safe. We just ignored the people offering us tours or taxi along the way. Beach wasn't crowded. If you're looking for low key I'd reccommed it.

If you are docking in Coxen Hole, the worry becomes affordable transportation. I generally reccommed sorting a resort day pass with transport so you are not scrambling at the end of the day for a taxi who knows you have to be back at the ship. 

 

If you are hiring a driver, transport is not a worry. Half Moon Bay is easy to access because it is in the village of West End. If going to West Bay Beach one need either take a water taxi from West End or access via the road behind Bananarama. You can walk the beach to decide where you wish to relax, not all the places on West Bay offer day passes. 

 

The Tabyana Excursion from the ship is also an option, it is on part of West Bay Beach.

Looking for ideas for beach day. We want chairs,  some shade,  bathroom and food and drinks. We aren't snorkeling. Do we need to book at a resort or can we just show up and find a place.

We will be in Nassau on New Years day. Will things be open. Thinking of going to Junkanoo beach.

Help I'm trying to figure out how far it is from Empress of the Sea to Symphony of the Sea. We have done B2B on the same ship but never have switched ships. Can we wheel are luggage off and walk to next ship or do we need transportation? We leave on January 3rd.

Are there taxi that day? Does anyone know if the beaches still rent chairs. We are there also and trying to decide what to do that day and what will have to wait until the next day.

I'm looking for information on the Royal Caribbean Land tour 2b that starts in Fairbanks goes to Denali and Seward. I'd love a detail schedule and more information on times and what is included.
