I'm so glad to hear that my dietary restrictions won't be an issue on Celebrity. I have stuck with another cruise line in the past because I didn't have any issues with my restrictions on the line. I'm wanting to go on an Asian cruise with Celebrity, but was worried about how seriously they took food issues. Glad to hear that won't be a problem.

Thanks!

If I select to get my airfare through Oceania, can I specify that I want an aisle seat? I've read that I can pay extra for a deviation, but wasn't sure if specifying type of seat would require that. Thanks!

I have only used one cruise line because I had a wonderful experience on each ship when it came to my gluten free meals. I was able to order the next evening's meal while I waited for dessert.
I'm considering going on an Asian cruise with RCCL, but the number of people who talk about having issues with gluten free meals on the ships makes me reconsider.

I have one cruise booked for January 2018 (not with RCCL). I'm looking at Asia journeys to book for my first cruise with this line.
-
I'm considering a Singapore to Dubai or Hong Kong to Dubai trip for 2019.

I'm glad to hear that eating gluten free won't be a problem. I'm getting ready to book my first cruise with Celebrity. I have always used another cruise line due to having no issues with getting gluten free options, but that line doesn't go to Asia.

I will post a trip report. I have a sick kiddo right now, so it will probably be next week.

I took my first ever cruise on Carnival February 21-26. I had such a fun time! I'm glad that I found this forum and read so many tips before the trip.
I have two more cruises booked for this year. I guess I am hooked!

We got an up sell for the first cruise we are taking next month. I booked online. I think it has a lot to do with how full the ship is.

I was glad to see this post since I have a couple of questions about booking future cruises.
My husband and I are taking our first cruise next month. I would like to book a cruise for in August that would be for me to take my daughter on. Does the future cruise have to be for both of us or would I be able to book one with my daughter and still take advantage of the OBC?
Is there a chart somewhere showing the amount of OBC by cruise length and deposit amounts when you book while on a cruise?
Thanks!

I have to travel with several meds. Some countries still give you trouble unless they are original containers. Dealing with it once was enough for me to just take the bottles with me.
-
I did an upgrade this week as well. It was just too good to pass up.
-
As long as the medication is in the original containers, you should have no problems.
-
I'm purchasing some just so I can have some money in my account prior to the sailing date. That will allow the credit card to not be charged as much during the cruise, lol!

I was just reading about this excursion. It is only a few hours long so I plan to look to see what we could do after we did this. I would love to hear some reviews of it as well.

I have a stuffed kidney character that travels with me. I have a kidney disease and I have a blog where I write about not letting a kidney disease stand in the way of life. Beanie is the mascot for the blog, so I bring him along on adventures.

Krazy Cruizers ~
The first cruise I booked is for Oct. 2015 aboard the Carnival Victory leaving from Miami. The one I booked this week is for Feb. 2015 aboard the Carnival Elation leaving from New Orleans.
The one in Feb. is with my hubby, while the one in Oct. is with friends.

Thanks for the reply! I assumed so, but wanted to make sure. I'm looking forward to the cruises!

I am excited to be booked for my first cruise in 2015. We actually decided to add another cruise to the mix for next year as well that we will be booking soon.
I have a question about luggage. The requirements listed for the cruise line are not very clear. I'm assuming a bag that meets size requirements for standard bags for checked luggage on flights will work for the cruise. Right?
Thanks so much!
Pre-cruise Stay in Abu Dhabi
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
I'll be going on the Best of India and Sri Lanka journey. I'm currently deciding which date and if it will be a B2B experience. I have cruised before on another line, but this will be my first experience with Celebrity.
Has anyone done the pre-cruise tour offered in Abu Dhabi? I can't find the pricing for this tour online. I would love to hear from anyone who has done the tour before about the pricing and their overall opinion of the tour. Thanks!
