I know you are not allowed to take an iron on board due to the fire hazard, but do they allow you to take a steamer onboard? It "looks" like an iron but is not a fire danger like an iron (at least I don't think it is) and is not metal. If anyone knows anything about this, I would appreciate your knowledge. Thank you!

We have purchased several items at The Grand. On St. Thomas and smaller one on St. Martin as well...do not know if they are open.

Pickleball on the cruise ship? This seriously will get me to switch over to Princess from Royal Caribbean. For those of you who don't play, I don't expect you to understand. However, as previous posters have mentioned, it is truly addicting and great fun!! I just want to confirm it's actually Pickleball with a whiffle ball and not Paddle tennis? So it's played on the Regal, Sapphire and Caribbean? Any other ships of Princess? So excited!! Just wish I knew this previously as I'm going on a Royal Caribbean next week! Dang! Oh well, I'll just have to plan my next cruise sooner!! haha!!

We are getting ready to book a southern Caribbean cruise on the Adventure of the Seas--I just love the itinerary, but am concerned about the ship. I know they are renovating the ship and I'm wondering if it's worth it to pay the extra money to get a superior balcony cabin vs. a deluxe? Are they upgrading those rooms first? I don't know if it's worth the extra money when we are booking two rooms for four people. Any feedback? Anyone that has been on the ship recently and can provide feedback on the condition of the ship, it would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks.

Christy, awesome, awesome review!! Looking forward to our Western Caribbean cruise on May 25th with a lot of our extended family members, so know we will have a great time! Thanks so much for taking the time to do this! You've really increased my excitement and the early morning pictures without a lot of people in them were great!
