We will be going to the Caribbean! I just wanted to know so I can have an idea of what to pack for. Looks like I will bring a variety of things just in case!

Were only bringing 1 sweater and 1 pair of track pants each, it should be warm the whole trip other then maybe a few cool nights.

Email prmaitred@carnival.com with your booking number, seating time and table request. When you get on the ship go see the Maitre d to make sure you got your request, he will be at the desk at the entrance of the MDR.

I am pretty excited as this is my first cruise and I have not had a vacation in awhile! I have also never been to the Caribbean.

 

As far as Roll Call goes...I have seen things about the Meet and Greets but I am not sure how to do it. Silly newbie LOL

My BF is also not a huge social bug and I am not sure he will want to attend?

I feel your pain, Hubby is also not very social, we never go to the meet and greet. Just a tip, if you don't want to sit with others during dinner you can request a table for 2 in the MDR, we always do!

We take all our meds in a weekly pill organizer including; narcotics and even prescribed synthetic THC (Marijuana) pills. No original containers needed the pharmacy gives us a print out of what pills/dosage we have with us if there are any questions.

On the 2 cruises we have been on our PVP has given us OBC to buy a drink on him and also sends us chocolate covered strawberries. I would expect nothing less since he is making a commission off each of our bookings.

Were sailing on Pride in October. Currently we have YTD but are thinking about switching to late seating since the early seating is wait listed. We do not like to wait more then 5-10 min when we go for dinner. Does anyone have any experiences with YTD on Pride?

Now that I have booked it I'm kind of scared. Is it going to be loud up there? We have a balcony so I know outside it may be but how about inside?

Gratuities will be added to your Sign and Sail account on the second day of your cruise automatically. You don't need to tip anything else if you do not want to.

Don't forget to bring extra to tip room service.

We go with a stack of cash and load it into the kiosk. When that money runs out it then charges our CC the balance.

Were sailing on the Carnival Glory in December. During our stop in St. Thomas we are 1 of 3 boats including the Oasis in port that day. What beach would be best to go to? We don't mind lots of other people but we don't want to be on a super crowded beach where there is no where to sit and relax.
