I just logged in and it shows I have no bookings (leave for one a week from Friday). It also shows that I have no cruise history with them (4 star).
Updating the website needed to be done, hopefully they work out the bugs soon.

The pictures look great, hope you have a wonderful cruise. I also love getting a to see the pictures of the Club Orange menu and the different teas in the Lido and Dutch Cafe.

Yes, Club Orange is included (no extra sur-charge) for Neptune Suites guests or anybody that purchased Club Orange during their booking process. Again, you may already know this, the Club Orange stand alone restaurant is only on Holland's Pinnacle class ships. At this time there is no separate restaurants for Holland's other classes of ships.
I'm not sure if Holland still does it, but breakfast was done at the Pinnacle Grill for Neptune Suite guests in the past on the other classes of ships.

No separate dining room. You have Club Orange restaurant available to you on Pinnacle Class ships, but Club Orange is available for purchase with other room classes.

After dinner we go for a walk around the ship. I might spend a little time in the casino with my wife, then make my way to the music venues, while she stays in the casino. I love all types of music, so a lot of nights I bounce around from the Rolling Stone Rock Room to BB Kings. We have watched a movie under the stars and also NFL games.

You can request a certain cabana if it's available, just call the same number you booked it with. If you look at the map from the previous post you can find the Nieuw Amsterdam setup. We have had both the Naples and the Portofino (looking over the Lido pool with more breeze), we chose these because you don't have to see people coming up the stair from below. We also have had the Santorini (looking over the side of the ship with less breeze).

Thanks for all the good advise and ideas. Ended up booking a flight to Miami with miles and will go in a day early. Then booked Southwest direct from FLL back to Tampa for $59pp.
Will defiantly do all or partial train next time.
Thanks again.

Has anyone taken Amtrak from Tampa to Fort Lauderdale? Just moved to the Tampa area and trying to figure the best way to get to Fort Lauderdale for our cruise. When we lived on the coast we would just fly, but now living as close as we do we were thinking of taking Amtrak for our Holland cruise December 12th of this year.
Thanks for any input.

We have a Holiday cruise booked for New Years leaving the 26th out of San Diego. I was curious if any locals or cruisers have any experience with restaurants(Gaslamp) or attractions(Balboa Park) that would be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas. We could fly in on the 26th, it's only an 1-1/2 hour flight, but with this crazy year we would rather go down a couple days early.
Thanks for any feedback.

Purchased my 100 shares Friday. I had thought about doing it last year but wasn't crazy about the price of the stock at the time.
I will be happy to receive a little extra OBC on my April and June cruises.

That describes my initial decision to make an investment in CCL as well as RCL.
2009 was a buying opportunity for cruise line stocks. 2020 may also provide a similar opportunity.
That is my thinking for the benefit and the stock.

I was looking at the Shareholder Benefit and notice that the benefit is applicable on sailings through July 31, 2020. Since their stock is currently at a 52 week low, I was thinking of buying 100 shares. Does anyone know if the Benefit is going to change after July of this year or be removed completely?
Thanks.

That's a good price. If this is your first SS it may be a double edged sword. Once you get a taste of that extra room, it's hard to go back to a regular balcony room.

We have had a Retreat several times on Eurodam and NA. They are quiet, but sometimes it can be a little windy. You don't have to worry about family ones, a lot of times it is just used for groups travelling together. Kids like to be where the activities are and there is no activities going on in the Retreat area.

We had the same issue. Called HAL, nice lady took our information over the phone, now all check in for December cruise.

I don’t think the original poster stated what level of Mariner they were, but for them or someone following this thread, getting double day credits for a suite is a great benefit. I look at that since I’m working my way from 3 Star towards 4 an 5.

I’ve done it both ways, San Diego, Vancouver and Fort Lauderdale. Always a direct flight(red eye) or a long layover in a city not known for bad weather.
I like being able to grab a taxi or Uber and go straight to the port.

Watching sail away this week. Next week, will I will be on NA enjoying it in person.

We usually book late, less than 120 days before sailing. We have been able to book a retreat cabana about 50% of the time. If you want one (I highly recommend), book it as soon as possible.

That does work, and the Navigator App works which has all my cruise history.
