  1. We are booked in 2297 and 2293 in June. Can you tell me if there are lifeboats above or if there was a break in the lifeboats at these rooms? Thanks!

There is no life boat over 2297 the only annoyance and it was minor is on Debarkation Day the catwalk to customs is directly above. It was loud, but hey we were up and ready for or number to be called. The rest of time it was fantastic. 2297 is the very middle balcony under the walkway.

  2. Loved our Cove Balcony room #2297 on the Carnival Magic. We even got lucky and had no lifeboat above us for an even wider view. I enjoyed being so close to the water. We left the door open a few nights to hear the sound of waves. The only annoyance was disembarkment morning the catwalk was directly over our head. 2297 is the center over the rails in the picture. IMO Cove is the way to go.

  3. Just had our first cruise and I was worried about "kids" of all ages on the ship being that we sailed Spring Break. My husband and I are empty nesters with a 21 year old. We enjoyed seeing some of the fun the teens, pre teens and younger were having. We talked to a few of them here and there. Most seemed more polite then then some of the adults. I did not see many very little ones like your fry guy accept on formal night the couple next to us had a toddler close to 2. As he got antsy his parents took care of it, he never bothered us. I loved that there was fun for all on the ship. My husband and I even stopped and watched the Dr. Seuss Pirade through the lobby. We loved it!

  4. I just loved reading your review and seeing your photos. My hubby and I were also on this cruise both of us first timers. Luckily we had a seasoned couple with us to show us the basics. We also had FTTF and did not recieve our baggage until after 5. We were pretty anxious for fresh clothes since we had flown from Tulsa early that morning and we had Steak House reservations at 6:30pm.

All in all we had a blast. The food could have been better all around but I didn't expect much and I didn't go hungry so it is what it is I guess. My favorite meal was the night we had The Italian Restaurant. My favorite dessert was the Cappacino Pie in the dinning room on the last night.

Hubby and I really enjoyed the Punchlne and Vibe Clubs in the evening. We played lots of trivia and did one of the scavenger hunts. We stayed in a Cove Balcony and I really enjoyed that. We had an awesome Steward and the towels critters in the evening were so much fun.

    Port Days.....

We did the Trolly on off in Key West. Hemingway House was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful and the kitties were a delight!

The Freeport Beach Day was probably the biggest bummer of the trip. I loved the the beach but the drinks had no alchohol and the the locals were a bit rude.

Nassau was another tourist day for us we did the City Tour but the other couple with us did the beach. I hear we missed out. But I wouldn't have wanted to give up the tour of the city we did.

I miss our cruise already. it was like a second honeymoon for us. How can it already be over? :(
